Mondstadt's End Game [Genshin Impact Lore and Theory]

Just a short video about a cheery place. I really just wanted to talk about all the things that make mondstadt sus. Pretty short, honestly, but that’s because I’m just winding down from everything.

  2. The Scaramouche quest basically involved alteration in Time and it was most likely Istaroth that contacted us at the end of the quest.
So I feel that soon we'll return back to the Monstadt lore.

  3. 8:02 that surprised me that you're filipino, didn't expect that 😅(Kamusta!)
I always see mondstadt as an endgame that I learned about the Statue that says "Gate way to Celestia" and I was wondering why it was written and always think that there is still secrets that we've never descovered yet in the nation of Freedom. Among the archons we've meet, Venti doesn't say anything about Khanrei'ah's destruction that he just change the topic or ignores it. Zhongli couldn't say it because of a contract that was signed before the destruction and Ei doesn't know about it because she was in Inazuma protecting her nation and was focus on Makoto's death. as for Nahida, well we already know she gave us a lot info. Istaroth is another mysterious god that we've learned and maybe she's used to be worship in Mondstadt and that why she' connected to Venti is probebly the "Gate way to Celestia" safeguarding it from the Fatui or the Abyss Order, we even met her after 3.3 archon quest.
Mondstadt will always be my home, even that the other regions have beautiful scenery or ost, Mondstadt is the place that is attached to me.

  4. There is just so much lore that all connects back to Mondstadt.
I actually did a 3,000+ word research paper for my English comp class going in depth on a theory that I have for Mondstadt (which is that mondstadt will be the first nation destroyed by celestia), and that only included a very small portion of all the Lore.

Like just the surface of Mondstadt lore, you get the Abyss Order, whatever is going on with dragonspine, Old Mondstadt, and the rebellion with Vanessa. But you go deeper and you find deep connections to Khaenri’ah and Istaroth. You also get things like the ‘gateway to celestia’ writing on Venti’s giant statue, the ancient civilization of Sal Vindagnyr, Durin, Rhinedotter, and celestial nails. And don’t even get me started on Venti. The man has deep connections everywhere and in everything. From Enkanomiya, to the cataclysm, and Istaroth. And with what we learned in Sumeru, we learned that Venti was holding the truth back from us, because we learned that archons get strength from people who believe in them, and that guy has a whole ass church dedicated to him.

I also think that it is important to note that so far, we have only seen the Abyss Order directly attack mondstadt; through attempting to ambush the city, attempting to corrupt Dvalin, and Venti’s missing, corrupted, upside down Statue of the Seven.
Another thing that I think is important to note is that so far, Mondstadt has the most connections with Khaenri’ah, due to Albedo and Kaeya being from Khaenri’ah and with Dainsleaf, another Lhaenri’ahian, being allowed to come and go in the city as he pleases.

And also, isn’t it funny how while the archon quests in other nations are referred to as ‘chapters’, the archon quest in Mondstadt is referred to as ‘prologue’. It definitely makes me think that we will be going to Mondstadt again some point later in the game.

Edit: I wrote this before I watched the video, and after watching it, I have found that many of the points I made were brought up in this video.

  5. I mean, I see the twins as two different versions of Lucifer. The Traveler being the angelic version while the Abyss Sibling being the devil version. Both different but will ultimately have the same fate. Both siblings will suffer from the lost of the place which they considered their homeland. Teyvat is a loophole, whenever there is peace. There will be chaos. And who knows? Maybe the Abyss Sibling was still with the sustainer after all and they would repeat our journey over again.

  6. If you read this Aster, I have something on my mind, it's about the archons, specifically, Nahida and Venti. As someone who loves them and is a lore player, I noticed that they're probably too similar (aside from being green). They're the ones who mostly tell us about this world and Celestia, I mean they give us the most information about it. They are also "moons", Nahida being a reflection of Rukkadeveta and Venti being a reflection of Istaroth/The bard who fought against Decarabian. I've also notice that the "moons" also have a pretty big role in this story, Nahida giving us the most info, especially about desenders and possibly playing a more important as we continue our journey. While Venti is hinting to us about Celestia being bad and we know he'll be important when we go back to Monstadt at the end. Lastly, I thought it was odd how we meet Nahida through the dodocommunication device, which should only be able to let us talk to Venti and Venti knowing that it was a Nahida who wanted to talk to us. Also who we meet them physically, they were running away from us so we had to follow them, sussy. Well, I spoken too much, I should end this comment😅

  7. I've also had my doubts on it, like why does Venti not have a part two to his story quest? We've met the dragon and wolf of the four winds but we know mostly nothing about the eagle and the lion. We know that guyun stone forest was created by morax's spear and stuff and we can explore them but we cannot freely explore the mountain peaks that turned into islands and became the golden apple archipelago , and for some reason, the first field tiller according to dainsleif is the one at stormterror's lair but why did it go there?
And that upside down Venti statue in the interlude quest actually was something of an incident in Mondstadt, but from which area could that statue possibly be?

  8. Mondstadt is also the only region, so far, that’s archon quest involved the abyss at all. Liyue the antagonists were Morax & the Fatui. Inazuma the antagonists were Ei and the Fatui. Sumeru the antagonists were the akademiya and the Fatui. Mondstadt’s antagonist was the abyss. The fatui played a very very small role. Side characters at most of that quest

  10. My main suspicion about Monstadt and Venti comes from the fact that Venti's gnosis looks like a queen which is considered one of the most powerful and strategically useful piece in the whole chess scenario. Also, it is one of the only piece closest to the king which could either imply it being in close proximity to Snezhnaya or Celestia. Or it could symbolise the freedom the queen chess piece has in movement which Venti is a symbol of

  11. ,,There's a fascinating saying in my country called"
    inhales

    starts dropping bars

but the content of that little rap is quite interesting and makes a lot of sense, you have to look into your past where your experience lies to shoot down whatever problem comes in your way or else you can't continue

  12. Something I find interesting is that the only country that has a comparable physical history is liyue, but even then between the thousand winds temple, nameless Island, and old mondstadt. Theres more history in those than the ruined villagers and nine pillars that liyue has

  13. Venti being still awake, albedo, sus kaeya, khanrei'ahn possibly being close, the abyss being close there, one of the destroyed civilizations being close there. The place is too sus

  14. Mondstadt for me is always my home and if it were to be ever destroyed and all of the people and friends we made in there were gone then I won't be surprised if I turn to the Abyss or something

  15. We just ignoring English being Aster's second language after she just ripped through her native language like it was butter? Cool, cus I have lore questions about her origin story…

  16. I would point Out Sucrose as possibly being linked to unknown to us things. I mean If You were born with nonhuman Ears which is genetics then you would learn from Parents their origin which Sucrose Doesn't know which can be signal that her ears are byproduct of Some kind of Genetic Mutantion which makes me wanna hear you go deeper into Sucrose's character and make your own Theory and possible hidden Backstory of Sucrose.
Edit: Forgot to mention that no one is actually pointing that Sucrose's Constelation has Khaenri'ah star in it.

  17. Well, if apparently Celestia and the Heavenly Principles are a tyranny that eradicates civilizations that go against their will, it would make a lot of sense for us to return to the nation of freedom to free Teyvat from Celestia. Also, the Mondstadt map is not complete and we don't have a Harbinger boss in Mondstadt unlike the other nations. I guess that the weekly harbinger boss in Mondstadt could be Columbina – both for design reasons and Seelie theory. The Seelies were angels, Venti looks like an angel and there is an in-game book called " A Drunkard tale ( III ) " that tells about how the spirit of the wolf met a "donzel" who sings and play music with a stringed instrument ( possibly a Lyre ) about the Seelies and their final tune in the Hall of Angels before annihilationin. Also the theme of Stormterror lair with the singing, Lyre notes and melancholy could be the voice of a Seelie as well.

  18. Why is no one talking about Vanessa?? She's literually one of the fours winds connected to celestia and is watching Mondstadt for some time now (if the genshin manga is to be true idk some say otherwise), other than that what role whill she play in the future and will she introduce/take us to celestia?? (my theory)
