Whelp…so much for a future private server who would take character balances seriously unlike Mihoyo & nerf national comps while buffing others like Starters, Xinyan, Aloy, Thoma and etc… ;_;
sorry but leaks/mods literally add to the hype of the game… other devs learnt this the hard way when their games died cos they kept chasing leakers and killing their communities 🤷♀️

They need back off the private servers picture this…you spent 20k cash in genshin impact and the server closes…. Or they should release the game offline for this reason
even though the ult swap vidoes are hilarious and its fun to see unusual stuff happening in Genshin, i think we should take a page out of Yanfei's book and follow the law. Games like Minecraft allow modes to the extreme because mods is what drives the game forward. However, Genshin isn’t made to modify and Hoyoverse clearly states that this is illegal.
Private Server Hunt Decree seems brutal.
A lot of people don't read the ToS and use common sense, and this got a lot of people to show it with their comments.
Personally, of course Hoyoverse would assert their right with how popular her videos are, which will likely affect the game's image among players and new potential players.

I remember having only a bit of Lumie videos, where Thoma flies away, it's short but I just post it on Discord for the memes, I might post the little clip on Youtube so y'all can see it, I mean, It's a little clip after all.. *Nervous
I always had the feeling they'll do this sooner or later, and here it is. Tho it's personally interesting and somehow funny for me to see those unique contents, I still feel this would made Hoyo suffer a big loss in business prospects. In the end, the best way to appreciate the game we love is by making it popular and maybe spend some of your money for the game as it will contribute to the game developments.
Welp, would not defend the use of private server, if it ruins their bussiness that means its gonna affect genshin and their other games's future as well.
However after seeing some npc model swap content(out of context rant below):
Only dissapointed at mhy for the fact that now i can see that the truth is: They legit can actually make a model of muscular man as a playable character (see: Wagner Itto swap), they just REFUSE to do it. Even though every single Itto art has his bicep being huge and muscular (im very petty i know that) , they focused on making pretty domains which is understandable, but in other aspect they're using their budget on something that only happens ONE TIME instead of refining something that will last much much longer (Itto's accurate body)

Mihoyo have the right to do so. I'm not 100% against private server, as long as you use it for private use like testing bug, damage etc on your own. But we've seen how these private server players doing it for clout and money. They don't even own the intelectual rights, they just think it's okay because the game's free.
Ohh, that's fine. I use a private server but I don't post anything. Also, I don't use my main acc to avoid getting banned so it's fine. And this is preferable because lots of private server players are not aware of hacking the main acc even without using it. If you are a private server, you need to have another device and use VPN. Or else, they will hack your main acc and google accounts in that device you are using 😊

Genuine question but why would you want to play Genshin Impact of all games on a private server? Like it doesn't seem fun
Its MIHOYO's intellectual property…if they wanted to they could strike down all the content creators. They don't though, usually only going after leakers and ehhermm private server exploitation.
Private servers could potentially make alot of money(From stolen assets).
IMO Mihoyo has every right and moral cause to strike it down.
I can already smell this miles away when I saw some yt vids but no further explanation about this so called "private server players" getting "private servers" of their own

Its the right thing, I warned evrytime people when i saw these bs guides to " how to literally get perma banned" to not follow this crap n spread it, cause its naturally only a matter of time until MHY gets aware of it n starts the ban wave (rightfully)
