This whole video is a rumor. Mihoyo is not pulling out of China. There is reason that a publisher company to be set in singapore. Because singapore is a country that has a good relationship with many other countries. Thus a publisher company in singapore helps to the fund problem or something.

Yeah this move was bound to happen. China have been going crazy with the censorship and limited of gaming lately. Azur lane have to remove about 16 ship girls from the game (CN servers) some of them being the bigger name ships like Akagi and kaga, the Honkai bunny event, and not to long ago fate have to remove serval China related servants from the cn version of the game too. Gaming market in CN is becoming a rocket boat that looking to become a sinking ship as time goes. They even made it harder for company to update and release new apps. Skipping town seem like a logical choice at this point.

To be honest, nothing is going to change. CN market is the market mihoyo will never abandone, therefore, if there's something banned in China, it won't exist in genshin. There's a possibility that mihoyo make 2 verson of games. But due to the bunny girl thing, I don't think it's gonna happened.
You may disagree with me, But you have to remember mihoyo is a cn company, and it's a company that focus more on making good games than making money. There's no way it will give up cn market just for making international market happier to make more money, despite the fact that genshin is a game that mostly make from the money from cn honkai players.
Also, you may have seen some pretty bad comment about cn genshin and honkai community. Plz always keep in mind that cn community is extremely polarized, due to a large monopoly company called Tencent which basically ruined Chinese game market by creating tons of craps and spend money controlling comments about other companies' games. A lot of people are basically brainwashed by this company. Genshin impact, the TGA 2021 No1 mobile game, best rated Chinese mobile game ever, was rated 4/10 on bilibili before its release. Simply because tencet is paying a lot of idiots to write bad comments. The release date of Genshin is called the darkest day of cn videogame industry. How hilarious.

Stop spreading rumor! The companies do this is not due to the Chinese government censorship but the regulation of other countries. Some cuontries have restrictions on Chinese companies especially the IT companies. That's why Mihoyo needs to have a oversea publisher.
