Inazuma is locked at AR 40? I mean, liyue got unlocked when I reached AR 20 or 25(I don't remember) I think Inazuma would be unlocked as well, just that instead of travelling by a waverider/beidou's ship I think they would have to kaeya bridge all the way to that point(I really don't know I'm just saying that could be possibility?)
A possible solution for character materials is to make all characters use boss drops from the 6 normal bosses that came with the game's release, and then make them require ascension materials from their home once the player can access it.
So for example Yoimiya could use Everflame Seeds (from pyro regisvine) for her first 4 ascensions, but then will require Smoldering Pearls (from pyro hypostasis) for her 5th, 6th and later ascensions.
Well u can always ask ur ar40-45 friend to lower their world level and join them

I think they will lower the AR level needed to play the prologue, like what happened to the Golden Archipelago Islands, it’s prerequisite was Klee’s story. We know that Klee’s story was locked to AR 30 something. When patch 1.6 was out they lowered the AR level to 20 to play the Trifolium Story (Klee’s Story) thus granting access to the golden archipelago for new players.

Uhm I wasn’t paying attention but did you say we can’t go to inazuma if we are not ar 40?? Because if that said then that just ruined my excitement because I’m ar 35 with 20k xp and that’s almost ar 40 and I actually can’t do the ascension quest 😭😭
I feel like the region should be AR locked for story purposes but it also really sucks if you can’t go there and get the new resources.
