There seems to be a gap between the Scarlet King dying and Rukkhadevata becomimg Nahida. Most probably she has exhausted all her powers and the Cataclysm 500 years ago is the nail in coffin for her to loose it all.

İf kusanali is rukkhadevata then why akademiya treats her as not a god
since Nahida is greater lord Rukkhadevata in child form, Genshin should give us both her Adult & child form as the Dendro Archon
But it doesn’t make sense
The scarlet king sacrificed himself over a thousand years before the events of the story
And rukhadevata supposedly died 500 years ago in the khaenriah war
If she became a child over a thousand years ago, why did they say she died exactly in the khaenriah war at the same time nahida was born??
Really wish in the future Nahida got her Rukkhadevata form back thru costume or whatever.
I like her smoll cute form but the adult one looks so beautiful and kind.
When Nahida was teased I was like oh dendro archon is a cute but watching so much anime and and reading manga I thought that maybe she TURNED into a kid after losing her powers. My suspicion got stronger as we go to Sumeru and this right here just confirmed my suspicions
Im curious as to how the archon war affected Sumeru. It seems the Dendro Archon decided to coexist with the Scarlet King as did the Electro Archon with the Orobashi.

As much as I like the idea of kusanali being Rukkhadevata and she was the one who saved her people, I wish we could’ve gotten our playable character dendro archon as the original version archon. She looks absolutely stunning. I do still like little kusanali of course.
What i dont understand is how can "knowledge" cause a whole new disease (Eleazar) to pop up, and cause death in flora and fauna alike? in the end isnt it just knowledge?
Always found it weird that Kusanali, the "God Of Wisdom" was described to have no wisdom by sumerians. She just lost it to seal the Forbidden Knowledge.
I love the cutscenes in this Archon quest so much.
"The Forbidden Knowledge that did not came from this world". As a player for both Honkai and Genshin, this gave me an uneasy feeling.
I don't know why but I really had this feeling that Honkai power is leaking through Teyvat by creating another version of itself suited for the world. Remember that power of Honkai is in a form of higher knowledge that can corrupt people who use or in contact with it. This "Forbidden Knowledge" description really connected well with the Honkai corruption.
When the developers confirmed that Teyvat is another universe formed by the Imaginary Tree, there is possibility that Honkai enery leaking through Teyvat.
This is just a stupid theory of mine.

So Nahida will naturally become the greater lord Rukkhadevata. She sacrificed herself to save the Scarlet king and his people from those forbidden knowledge and she does the same thing during the fall of Khaenri'ah. The cycle never end for her since every time she save Sumeru, she is reverted back to being Nahida and the discrimination continues. I feel really bad for her man.
I wouldn't even be surprised if that forbidden knowledge just so happen to be Alice. The Scarlet king probably thinks that Alice is Rukkhadevata like seriously they are very knowledgeable and are of the same race. The only different between the two of them is Alice had the tendancy to cause destruction wherever she goes. Alice is also from another world as well. Alice is pretty sus.

Rukkhadevata made the aranara and the use up thier memories and regress to seeds to use their full power, so OBVIOUSLY their god would be the same.
The line in irminsul "The world… Forget me" is probably a warning to the scholars "Don't let the world forget me", because if they did took care of her regressed for she could regain her power, but instead they thought she is a different god and denied her knowledge and learning so she was never able to regain her powers. It makes so much sense now.
Of course she doesn't remember either because she gave her memmories for whatever happened in kahenri'ah, but unlike us who took the Aranara's lessons the sages did not and now the are trying to construst a god even though the god they actually wishing for was RIGHT THERE all along, they just lacked the care and faith and knowledge to realize it.
Man the writing in sumeru is SOOO crisp.
