  1. They add Housing imo at the worst time possible in the worst way possible that is immersion breaking. They should bring Housing first after Inazuma and not with this teapot bullshit, but instead with actually a real land mass/island that is part of some multiple island with harbor town, so that there is also some life there nearby, building your house directly into your world instance. WTF such an obsolete instance in an instance BS with the teapot n extra obsolete npc, just to enter the teapot, when you could just travel to your house n be there, totally without any unneccessary second instance in your world instance. Thats like turning a cheeseburger into a double cheeseburger, because there wasnt already enough cheese in it >_> But does it make it taste better? NO, because its just another added layer of the same damn thing!!
I want housing in Genshin as part of its actual world, not as part of a magical realm within a dumb teapot of madam ping and the material that is online just shows, that its a huge island place and not just a small space, but in my opinion it would be much better to add Housing after Inazuma, making it one of its many islands in that region, that is part of your world instance then. Absolutely no need for dumb sub instances with only more loading screens >_< thumbs down p-_-q

  2. I'm excited for this system since building houses and designing interiors is my jam. But I'm unsure if the majority of the playerbase will be as interested in it unless it has some major main gameplay benefits (resin recharge, somehow boosting your teams etc.). Not everyone is like me who just wants to build a pretty house for the sake of building and being creative. If it's not rewarding for them they won't do it and will have nothing to do as they do now

  3. If there is no benefit for the housing, then I will likely not waste time to farm and build. I would rather spend my time playing other games or just watch videos of Kim moan.

  4. Yea I really enjoyed genshin impact but my account was hacked and everything destroyed, no response from them on what they can do. AR 53 took me months and all gone in a matter of seconds, I spent way too much money to restart. What should I do?

  5. First and foremost mihoyo will not introduce or maintain any content without monetization whether directly or indirectly. So yea duh it’s gonna be gated or behind a paywall

  6. Housing will be cool if they add mini games to it. Like we gotta protect it from waves of monsters or if there was some sort of social mini game…But JUST building a house to show off is not gonna entice me unless there is some kind of resource reward for doing it. I played Sims back in the day but the difference is that you built a house in order to use it for your sims to live in daily. For genshin I see it being busy work. And most likely gated but also empty. They probably will give us rewards for building out certain parts or updating it each week and run contest that require us to visit their website or youtube channel. They are all about giving content with some sort of trade off for the company. Which is their prerogative. It just doesnt feel particularly good as a consumer. I am excited for anything new coming to genshin because i enjoy the world but if there is no consistent rewards or anything to DO with the house after building it or any reason to go to the house other than showing it off and having people visit my fake virtual house…HARD PASS.

  7. "Save" Genshin, I think with a billion in revenue they are doing just fine. Just cause you want to take a break and are burnt out doesn't mean everyone else is. Of course streamers are burnt out. Genshin puts out enough stuff to do every 2 to 4 weeks to keep people entertained until Inazuma

  8. I was really hoping that the player house would be a location on the world map but they sadly went with the usual instance which, at least for me, degrades the feature's value immensely.
