Nice video 🙏
been wailing for this natlan has best genshin ost so far imo. so much more amazing tracks than the few in this video too. would love to see more
I'm actually waiting for this ! Thanks for the reaction ! I personally love Venture of Tonalamatl so much that I intentionally go to the enemies just to hear it LOL
It’s crazy how Natlan has been the best region in the game by FAR. I don’t think I have really any critiques with the nation itself. Minor ones with story, but all the music has been outstanding as usual.
Keep up the great vids!
Maybe I should just react to the 3 discs…
Are you down?
Just like sumeru, i love natlan music❤❤
Hoyo-Mix employee 1: How many Latino genres are we putting in Venture of Tonalamatl?
Hoyo-Mix employee 2: YES
I've been hoping to see more Latin American reactions to Natlan as one myself (although since I'm Venezuelan I don't expect to see my culture represented directly in any way. I'm just happy to see capybaras and flamingos lol.) Really enjoyed your video and how you went from disappointed to impressed real quick, that's really the Genshin music experience. As for songs you might've missed, I think The Heights of Rumikunamanta (BGM from the Scions of the Canopy) should count. It starts more on the African side of things, but in the middle it mixes it up with salsa and has some really nice brass and percussion. It makes me feel I'm back in Caracas in the 90's taking a bus from school and the driver has the radio on. Which is a really interesting nostalgic vibe to have in a fantasy town with green dinosaurs! One of my favorites in the Natlan OST for sure
Check out the Xilonen trailer and I bet you'll be surprised by how different it is from everything else so far.
Maybe I missed it, but from where are u on? (I'm chilean btw) ❤
I don't know this for sure since I don't look at leaks, but based on what I know, the "latin america"/south America themed areas aren't out yet. Not that I expect them to go hardcore into making them fully pull from real life like they've done with the weird african Savanna/pacific islander hybrid they've done with the base region.
1st track you listened to is supposed to be a "restrarunt hotel" track.
Next two are 2 different combat tracks, and the final one is one of the big stadium tracks (the stadium also has the hotel in it.)
The whole soundtrack is so good, there's very very few standouts as so much is tied to certain areas and I love it all.
The new version (5.2) should represent more of the Latino culture AND MUSIC YAY
Even then, have to wait few more months for the official disc to come out
Cant wait to see u react those once it came out
Even as an American, I feel such pride in all these incredible cultures that have influenced us and we’ve inherited from. I’ve been hearing and jamming to this kind of music my whole life. Everyone in this hemisphere is American. We all go as one!
My guess is that there aren't that many South American OSTs at the moment because we only have 3 tribes released in the game at the moment and they have more African, Aztec and Hawaiian inspiration
There are still 3 tribes left and my bet is that there will be more songs like this because 2 of the characters from these tribes are called Citlali and Chasca
What you mention at 8:38 seems to be a leitmotiv present in at least 1 music of every region's combat music, or at least sounds very similar. Like Rite of battle and His resolution in Mondstadt, Gallant challenge in Liyue and Overlord of the thunderstorm in Inazuma.
somos hispanos no latinos
This is how I felt when I saw goulash in the game. I'm not even from Hungary but my house always has a can of goulash in stock. I hope for northern European stuff in Snezhnaya.
these two are in completely different styles and actually from the album befor Natlan: Glory and Decay https://youtu.be/Zb9QHJcHW5c?si=yViM_-4RNqIrdjic and Whisper of Domus Aurea https://youtu.be/kSFPu_UJYtk?si=N5CLmZRK5_gKt2lL
They should be listend to in that order
wow I loved this video! I liked all these songs but your analysis has really made me appreciate them and enjoy them a lot more!
Really love your videos! ❤ from China
Somthing to clarify here, in addition to latin amreican culture, Natlan is also inspired by african culture and even Polynesian culture. Natlan its a mix of a lot of cultures with diffrent tribes, each tribe with a diffrent theme.
I've absolutely loved Natlan's OST so far! I really love the mixture of genres, at first it took me off-guard but it is amazing how well it sounds!
My personal favorite so far is Fog of the Seasons!
