A lot of people are upset with Genshin because of the laziness involved with giving its playerbase sufficient rewards when considering their monetary prowess and success.
The big question now is, will Genshin give further compensation to muffle the voices that have been so loudly heard on this issue? Only time will tell… (and our wallets for some of us)

Honestly hoyoverse is acting stupid with genshin players, how is it really hard to give one free 5* character from standard banner!? All issues started cause of star rail ( I hate this game just not my type )
1- things we need to be added in genshin you find it added in start rail
2- resin cap still worthless where star rail energy is higher to do daily farming etc
3- star rail players got free 5* which caused this clash
4- genshin impact is 2 years older than star rail but still behind star rail of game life quality

Also you don't have to stop playing the game as a form of taking a stand on the issue, its really like liking a hamburger restaurant but you just don't appreciate them adding pickles in your sandwich even after you ask them not to add any before hand. So i really dont think the best or first solution should be quit going to that restaurant or cut funding them completely.
This was mostly to counter the opinion that some people have that if you don't like a game just quit it or stop spending completely right away.
Everytime people like you say better then nothing, the game gets worse and apathy spreads.

I am a 1.1 Player with Tartaglia Banner (First Limited 5 Star was Zhongli) and I am some kind also on both side in regard HSR is a different game but also from the same company.
Compared to the years before the 3 extra fates are good, because the last Lantern Rites we did not get anything extra. On the other hand compared to HSR, where they get 10 additional "fates" (do not know their currency as I do not play the game) the 3 fates we get are a slap in the face. Before we could atleast say we always get a free 4 Star, but they now got that as well. I am not per se mad at HSR getting a Free Limited 5 Star. I have just hoped they would give away a Free 5 Star from the Standard Banner to us. There are many people who do not have all of them. While I got Jean C9 already, and C6 Mona, Keqing C4, Qiqi C4, Diluc C2 and Tighnari C0, I am still missing Dehya. And there are many other players out there who have never gotten a Mona or Jean or Keqing.
I just hope, if it really is the curse from ex CEO Cai Haoyu (it was rumored that he was the Project Lead of Honkai Impact 3rd and that they also had bad rewards until he left for Genshin Impact), that, as 3 years have passed, he moves on to more burocratic positions instead of ruining another game.
I really hope they give what we deserve..
More endgame is what I want, I pretty much save anyway so rewards or no rewards don't affect me too much :3
Im not spending until we get end game we need the same love that HSR is getting, they haven't improved Genshin in 3 years…….all we have is Abyss >_>

The extra reward (3 IF) for 1 year support loyalty, feel like eating instan noodle inside hot pot. The price so low, inside hot pot vegetable+tofu+instan noodle (10+3). No meat/chiken/sea food, the ingredient luxury and delicious not inside your hot pot. Meanwille you see another hot pot with crab, lobster or meat that look so delicious. That feel pain see your hot pot just instan ramen + vegetable and tofu. I hope all player understand why Daily player Genshin is scream and cry inside.

If Hoyo had done what is fair FROM THE BEGINNING, giving us the improvements that OTHER GAMES BY THE COMPANY get no problem, then this wouldn’t be boiling to this point. If they actually wanted to thank their loyal customers for their years of supporting them, playing their game, giving them money, helping them to become the game/company they are today, and give them billions of dollars, they should give us things their loyal customers ACTUALLY WANT. Things like Artifact Loadouts, or Survival Modes/Endless Waves of enemies, Proceedularly Generated Domains, End Game content, Quality of Life fixes for things the players actually submit in their surveys all the time. Yet we get a slap in the face with mediocre content and bs rewards. It's pitiful. They could make their billions AND at LEAST occasionally give the fans/players/supporters/the ones keeping their company going at least SOME of the things players have been requesting for years. You can't treat customers with such disrespect by giving them 3 wishes for 3 YEARS of support. Hoyo just made it clear they don't give an F by doing that. Fans already knew they didn't, but it's now blatant.

Nah man, no, it's unforgivable, it's not about the rewards anymore, it's about the blatant disrespect, for 3 years we've asked for endgame, for 3 years we've asked for QoL, and for 3 years hoyo has been spitting in our faces.
BOTH honkais have those things, genshin gets nothing every single time. The insulting reward disparity is just the icing on the cake.
I don't even care about new characters, what do I need them for? Even if they gave us a free C6 gaming, what are we going to do with him? To farm endlessly to get artifacts to clear the abyss with him to get more primos to get more characters to get more artifacts to get more primos, etc etc. The game loop is TEDIOUS AS FUXK, artifact farming is trash and they haven't done a thing about it for 3 years, I still haven't got a marginally decent set for Navia, she's still using 4 star pieces because I CAN'T EVEN GET A MAIN STAT SANDS FOR HER.
Hoyo is lazy because of this complaint behavior, no, it's not better than nothing, I'd rather GET NOTHING than be insulted like this, they're treating us like beggars, don't you see it? They're treating us like we are leeches, not like the paying customers we are that have given them BILLIONS. Enough is enough.
I'm gonna be real here but you genshin players have to get out this it's better than nothing mindset. It's ok to like a game but constantly telling Hoyo that, tells them they can spit on your face and you still stay. Yes they technically don't have to give you anything but it's a sign of respect and thanks for players to give them something special for supporting their game. I'm not as mad about this since I play Star Rail and have other games I'm currently playing so I'll be off Genshin for awhile anyway, but it's unreal to see some people not have some respect for themselves. For both F2P and paying players, Hoyo has to earn your free time and money so they can at least be grateful for once and hook you guys up with something for staying for over three years.
It's not normal for a game to have drama every other month and mentally test their players. Make more noise if it bothers you all because you guys should be like gods to them for even offering any amount of your time and money.

At this point I really do hope Wuthering waves turns out to be a legit competition for genshin. I think one of the reason hoyoverse able to do this due to no real competitor with same genre. I have paid a lot for genshin only to hear disrespect from hoyoverse like this. I will not stop playing this game as I genuinely like this game and its lore but I can choose not to spend a single dime on this game until they listened to genshin community as a whole.

I think for rewards that should have been given to make then great but reasonable free 4 star and ga ming i agree and skin selector i would agree game out for 3 to 4 years and only 12 skin when patch out and you can't even pick the 5 star so yeah it can be included as well and a new glider and 20 pulls for limited and standard so a extra 40 pulls
