I expected it to be about a 3rd tail.
But after seeing what it's about. there are videos comparing character tails. They're all polygons. Kirara isn't an exception. That being said, they usually have more than 6 sides. It's probably lower side count to simplify having 2 tails. If people are complaining about it now, it's kinda ridiculous since Diona came out ages ago.
Can they just touch grass… its hexagon because of performance thing.

I already heard the news many days ago. It doesn't bother me at all. As someone who uses a non-gaming laptop, as long as it is playable enough, I'm happy.

my guess: they are not tails, they are cybernetic appendages.
I am more shocked about how crappy or uninteresting each character was/is since Inazuma. I haven't pulled since Nahida and honestly I really do not like Dendro or her playstyle.

I mean… Yeah, her tail does have hexagonal shape, that doesn't mean anything. That's just how the game engine renders polygons.
If Kirara were real, she will be the type leading 2 different image, perfect score at outside but back home a couch potato lazing around digging the nose with the perfect 2 tails.
