Kazuha refers to BeiDou as “Anegimi” in the Japanese trailer. Kazuha also refers to himself as “sessha”. To my knowledge, both of these terms are apparently very very old terms that were used during the period of Japan were samurai were still a thing. Apparently, “sessha” is a humble term used to describe an inexperienced samurai (I think) and “anegimi” means something along the lines of “older sister” and is a term used to show respect I think. Either that or just a close relationship/comradery. Also, when Kazuha says “a storm is coming”, he means that very literally. miHoYo has stated that Kazuha never encounters rain or bad weather in his travels on land. That’s precisely because Kazuha uses his keen senses to detect changes in the weather that normal people cannot. That’s why he suggests BeiDou to lower the sails, “a storm is coming”. Kazuha also ends some of his sentences with “de gozaru” which is another term that isn’t used in normal talk in Japan. Although I’m fascinated by Japanese culture and I want to learn Japanese, I can’t speak full sentences yet so don’t ask me to translate anything XD
