I'm pulling for Itto, and the first reason I knew I wanted him is that he's a rare male husbando who shows some skin. He's also got a nice attitude and hey, I'm all for the geo teams, I've got Zhongli and Albedo, I really like what I see with Gorou, so – I feel as if Mihoyo is giving us husbando wanters the whole package via this geo defense based team. And all the Waifu wanters can go enjoy their Shenhe, Ganyu, Hu Tao, Yae Miko, etc. I specifically avoided pulling the females despite them being great dps because I've been waiting for this moment, when I can have a goddam nice looking man. I think Itto is. No, his arms don't bother me.

We know of at least two characters who went without visions for a time (one kind of, the other for sure). Mihoyo isn't consistent with their own lore all the time but it's also possible we haven't learned what has set these few apart, or if they happen to have exceedingly high ambition even without the vision to bolster it.
I'm getting Itto because while Eula still has my fave design, I am tired of waifu impact and just want more male characters. I'm also pulling for Itto because he seems genuinely fun and is a claymore user, and they are my fave. He also has a happy personality that is just what we need after the despair and bad writing of Inazuma
