I don’t have Tao so I wanted to pull yelan for raiden national but I have a well built c6 xingqui
(and I use jade cutter on him cuz of raiden so he kinda slaps)
I thought her passive would be more than enough to make up for xingqui’s absence but now that I know there’s a risk of reactions getting messed up I might just skip😟. But i will wait till a week or two after she comes out and if she works with rational I’m getting her.

Question about her hydro doesn't the cube also apply hydro so that she applies hydro more than xingqiu or her sword and the cube sword applies 1u hydro only?

I know Eulamains has poisoned the well for Eula discussion but I feel she’s at least worth mentioning with Yelan. Eula Diona Raiden XQ has always been solid since that last slot can be filled by virtually anyone who takes minimal field time.
Yelan seems to be a decent if not better alternative, yes shatter is still a problem but the microstun and yelan’s personal dmg should both be useful. Her A4 specifically seems to have positive synergy with Eula Raiden being able to buff Eula’s explosion and raiden initial slash + maybe an N3C.

I don't think she's really worse than Xingqiu even on Hu tao teams…Yelan can make up for the loss of vapes with more damage and shorter rotations. Xingqiu with SW forces you to play 22 second rotations…Yelan at worst 20 second rotations.
do raiden's burst attacks work with yelan's burst's co-ordinated attacks ?

My Noelle is 4Glad Whiteblind ~60/140, I don't plan to update her with Husk artifacts

yes it would be confused with the bennett-xiangling national teams, but the name would actually make sense now because they're all from liyue

Watching this to convince me none of my teams need her, I don't even use my first Xingqiu, and that I shouldn't pull her just because of drip. Did it work? Not really, but it is what it is.
Gonna wait for the Zajoof post analysis just to be sure, but it's pretty likely that I'll just wait for Kazuha. If the Dendro copium theories end up being true then I'll catch her or Ayato on a rerun, no reason to rush imo.
As an Hu Tao main I am very pleased with this video. I was thinking of doing the double hydro team myself, probably with Zhongli in the 4th slot because I'm lazy

One thing everybody seems to be missing is a possible new "Hu Tao" in the future that'll only be able to vape if you use both Xq and Yelan to keep up with the pyro application, not to mention HP/EM scaling seems to be a tendency in Sumeru and with Dendro which makes her C4 even more valuable

I feel like players who have trouble deciding where to place Xingqiu in Abyss teams would benefit from having Yelan, especially those that don’t have any other off-field Hydro applicators. I’ve been using Barbara as my Hydro applier in my Freeze team, so I think I would benefit from having Yelan.

Hello Zajef, I know you said that she can only apply hydro with her ult while off field and thats true. What I wanna ask is do you see any use for her breakthrough barb CA being useful in dmg/applying hydro or what its gauge is? In a HuTao or XL team maybe it can be incorporated to reset the pyro aura back to hydro while also being a mini vape CA with potentially high dmg? Or am I just coping?
