corrosion can kill on-field characters; the 15% floor only applies to off-fields
Everyone was like saying that healers are irrelevant and now we get new content where they are and everyone is complaining. Even if i can't win floor 11 im happy it exists
I succeeded with Qiqi for my second half for a 9 star floor 11. Her ascension passive and E was enough, and the Q was just extra insurance. You can take your sweet-ass time to clear as you have 2 whole extra minutes for three stars. Corrosion is cheeky af with the cicin mages, but adjusting your rotations is enough, and you are not getting away anymore with giving crap artifacts to your healers. One way to look at things is that 11 punishes hardest the players that didn’t distribute investment to at least get talent lvl 6 and +16 artifacts on their healers. Refreshing to see something else to prioritize aside from DPS.
not just Abyss, in future patch and region there's WILL be attack that bypass shield especially when dendro came out with various of status effect.
I really don’t like that they’re forcing meta, yes they always do this with new characters but this one is a lot more major than the others. Although Jean and Barbara dominate this abyss, some people might feel forced to wish for kokomi.
I can't believe how much tunnel visioned some people have become due to Raiden that they are actually skipping Kokomi who is an SS+ Tier hydro support. But that'll change when her banner drops.
Finally my Jean can shine.
If you're thinking about spending easily 8K plus primos on pulling for a chance at Joke-omi for 450 primos for clearing the abyss you need to go back to school.
The only reason I stopped using Barbara is because Dragon spine came out. C6 lvl80 and lvl 8 talents. I'm ready for next spiral abyss
Got to take my dusty Barbruh out of the closet in order to 9 stars floor 11. It was fun though!
cleared it with a lv60 barbara that's only half built. YOU CAN DO IT!! you don't have to buy kokomi
It's design for Venti specially 11-3, corrosion is not a big issue, scattered enemy are the issue. Noelle can be meta here if only not scattered. She can do both damage and heal the party
its not a forced meta because that barbara and qiqi players benched because they though were useless are still there at level 20 XD
Not really you you just need to run 2 healers per team and one of them can be underdeveloped.
Strange that noone is mentioning Noelle, she is OP now on floor 11.

No it's not pushing for a Healer Meta.. will healers be more prevelant in this abyss? Yes.. why? Turbo healer 5* on the next banner.. basically giving the player base the option to pick up a healer that will fill the gap in team comps for those who sweat the abyss on a low budget without giving Jean her own banner.
I find it refreshing that Mihoyo created mechanics that makes the game experience more diverse. So now they are addressing how valuable healers are in game the same way they made shields valuable. This brings hope that they are not done with the lesser elemental reactions 🙃
Floor 11 is usually a dps-check: you have to beat it in order to access the easier floor 12 – which only real difficulty is the amount of enemies' hp…
Personally, I don't like this, as Spiral Abyss is the only source of (not) decent primogems besides events: they should reward you with 50 primogems for each chamber you clear regardless the amount of stars you got – stars should reward you with exp books and crystals then.
Nobody is talking about how good Noelle is in this new Abyss…
I used diona and Benny first try 36 stars so no difference
for me i have some healers buid, but the ER it's in the low side and that kills them just because they are slow healing the party, now i need better artifacts…
I have mixed feelings about this corrosion thing, for a part i like it because it's a change of pace and challenged me in a fun way, for another part though it pisses me off that this problem was only created to sell a solution, kokomi in this case, there can be other fun and good alternatives to make healers relevant, but i don't think this is the case
And thank god it was put on floor 11 and not 12, if not it would have been a hell of a challenge
the worse mistake they could make was giving a 4* character(bennet) a heal and attack bonus. No 5* can replace him unless you addon to that

You can iframe the corrosion damage while using Q.

Qiqi's E actually instant heals one tick on activation, that is about 5k HP on a pretty under gear Qiqi, so unless you swap Qiqi into an attack she should be ok.
As that one friend who always plays a healer bc I've built most my healers, it's my healer army's time to shine XD

Barbara does the job well enough for everyone. I have to disagree to the idea that Qiqi doesn't work well though, in fact she works even better than Barbara IMO(I used both of them on 2 separate teams) she was able to sustain the entire team with minimal on field time, just mark an enemy with talisman with a normal attack and let your on-field DPS heal itself.
I didn't really notice because I had Noelle on the first team and both Xinqiu and Bennett for the other team.

Barbara is probably a better healer than Bennett because she can burst heal everyone, with Bennett it only heals the active hero. So unless you want to waste his ult with rotating characters to heal them up, he's not the best healer for corrosion. Same with diona. Atleast the way I see it. Barbara and Jean are probably the best with qiqi 2nd i think. Noelle works too if u build her 🙂
I don't know what ppl are complaining about , I cleared floor 11 1st run didn't even notice it used Bennett in one team , 2nd team had only lvl 70 Barbara with lvl 16 flower no other artifacts, ps been playing barely 2 months
It took me a few attemps but I cleared floor 11 with 3 stars
-First half: Main Dps Noelle (doubling as a healer to keep everyone alive) with whiteblind, Favonius lance Zhongli, Favonius bow Fischl and Aquila Flavonia Bennet
-Second half: Amos Ganyu, TTDS Sucrose, Sacrificial sword XQ and Festering Desire Qiqi (If you dont have Qiqi you can put Kaeya/Rosaria/Diona and replace XQ for Barbara)
good god they put in 11, imagine if they put it in floor 12
lol punishing players for killing fast while in a timed run. Its a good feeling a put Qiqi in my party for abyss but it is forced.
I'm sorry, my guy, but you're incredibly wrong. You can stay alive on one side with a level 40 Barbara with no investment. You are making some wild statements without having experienced it at all.
that part about qiqi not being good on this abyss didn't age well.
