Genshin Impact may have a mass exodus of players soon as they quit for diffferent reasons. Lack of end game, the poor anniversary rewards, and other content creators leaving the game could be the catalyst to start it all.

  1. New World is coming out in 2 days thank god. I’m not renewing my welkins or battlepass of course but I’m still gonna log in for my commissions and resin for about 15 minutes a day just to keep the grind going and use their bandwidth. Hope it contributes to Mihoyo getting a dose of reality.

  2. Now I’m kinda glad that I take things extremely slowly, playing like 30mn a day and only explore about 40% of Inazuma, not because It’s not fun it’s because of my potato phone can’t handle more than 30mn

  3. Bro I feel you. I complain on the survey every time it comes out. I feel that MIHOYO doesn’t care about their community, this game could be great but with all the limitation MIHOYO has put in. They themselves will destroy this game.

  4. I have been playing Genshin for 203 days, just became AR-56, I have 32 characters, I spend money lightly on the game Welkin Moon, Gnostic Hymn, occasional chrystal top-up. I am still on 7-1 spiral abyss, mostly because I am still working on building out my characters. I occasionally hit some of the artifact domains.

I burned through Mondstat pretty quickly, same with Liyue. But when Inazuma came out I made the choice to slow my roll. Most days I pop on to do my daily stuff, the daily quests, use my resin.

Let me tell you, I like that I can be much more casual with this game. I came to Genshin from being a Destiny player. I don’t like what Destiny has become, as it has become a full time job just to do anything in that game.

Maybe I am in the minority here, but I am fine with the slow and steady drip from Genshin. I don’t feel like I need to burn myself out trying to accomplish something and gaming for me on this game is actually fun. It is a nice shift from Destiny, a game that now triggers my anxiety anytime I try to go back.

I really to Teccy’s advice on slowing down my progression in Genshin. I am not in a hurry to max out my characters,

If I had opportunity to suggest one thing is that Genshin should make more weapons craftable. A raid or something like the snow-tombed starsilver. And not just limit it to 4-star weapons, but five star weapons.

  6. Yeah, it just makes more sense rigth now to not play the game and just come back when new area is released. Hopefully if number of players start going down they will start concentrating on replayability more.

  7. I think that when players get the feeling that the money they have spent on the game is a total waste, is a huge red flag for the health of the community and the future of the game, sadly I think we are reaching this point in genshin, when 1 year of progress doesn't feel worth it or rewarding at all, and because mihoyo doesn't make any roadmaps, and they have shut down the leakers, the hype for the future of the game is also dying down very fast.

  8. I use to LOVE genshin impact. N by love I rlly mean love. I would play for hours n grind to get the best artifacts for my fave characters. But now I don’t have the motivation to even open the game. Everything feels forced it’s like I HAVE to do the commissions n new events for primos.

  9. I spend 10-15 mins doing dailies, another 5-10 mins for the artifs and most of the time results are disappointing and you can only do a few rounds. Unless there's an update, that's about it. I mean Genshin is suppose to be my chill game, but why does it feel like half hour of daily frustration. I love the game but Mihoyo needs to step it up.

  10. im ar 38, i have a single 5 star character, no announcement on the rewards for anniv yet, its still 10 measily wishes and some primos, ive ground almost all the free primos in game, if they dont change the ann rewards, i am done, a game that has made literal bank, has so much love and such a positive community, and this is how they celebrate their anniversary, i didnt quit when i got qiqi as my only 5 star, didnt quit when i ground my pity to near 80 on raiden without getting her before she left, didnt quit when they did awful event after event, but if this anniversary is all we get, some wishes just, a few gacha contests where the rewards are 100 primos, im done, this is actually ridiculous, theres nothing for me to do aside from dailies, still cant farm 5 stars reliably yet bc ar 38 so im kinda just stuck, content creators are basically done, half the community is basically done
