This is a comparison between the iPad Pro 2021 M1 and the iPad Pro 2020.
The comparison is to see which one is best for gaming and gameplay for the graphics quality, render quality and resolution.
Genshin Impact was set to its highest graphics and gameplay settings on both iPads. It was also recorded using the same USB C to HDMI interface on both iPads at 4K 60FPS.
Is the iPad Pro 2021 M1 best for gaming and gameplay graphics in Genshin Impact or is the iPad Pro 2020 the best for gaming and gameplay quality, resolution and graphics?

The M1 definitely looks worse.. does it perform worse and does its resolution automatically scale down or something?
It's quite understandable since it's not yet optimized for m1 chip. When it will, it will look much sharper, probably closer to the PC low-mid settings
although m1 didn't render the game fully but its performing quite well than the ipad pro 2020 when we talk about the fps, but yeh i hope the Apple? or mihoyo could fix it

At 1:25, looking at the detail in the distant cliff faces, the M1 is rendering less detail, this apart from upscaling from a noticebly lower internal frame render.

i just got the 12.9" 2021 and tried genshin … it looks like complete trash.. I thought mobile looked better? I've only played PC before.. is this normal for mobile? the UI looks great tho.. sharp and crisp

Bro are 2021 model has more colorful display and more brightness then the 2020 or both are the same brightness the same color display.
GENSHIN IMPACT now optimised for ipad pro m1 graphics better than 2020 model you can now compare graphics?
Resolution now is fixed for new ipad 2021 pro with m1 soc. But unfortunately performance is really bad. It cant hold the 60 fps due to heavy thermal throttling after short time.
