Hey everyone! In this video, I’ll walk you through 7 practical steps to improve and fix your Genshin Impact account.
I’ve received tons of comments from people asking for help with their accounts, and while I’d love to help each of you individually, that’s not possible. Instead, I decided to create this guide to share some of the stuff that I personally think about and keep in mind when I’m trying to build characters or fix accounts. Whether you’re a beginner just starting your Genshin Impact journey or someone feeling stuck and unsure how to progress, this video should have something for you!
I had so much fun recording and editing this, and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it! While this video is a bit different from my usual content, I hope it resonates with both my current audience and new players looking for guidance.

tfw i am prefarming Arlecchino and i am forced to farm her terrible artifact domain… sigh
Sadge, we didn't get picked
This video is so helpful thanks🙏🤍
Nice vid honestly, super straightforward. Im an oldschool gamer ive been blasting genshin on xbox since it came out. Totally vouch for the f2p and to overlook the monetization side. Have 100 wishes saved up just in the 2 weeks since release. This type of vid helps someone like me maximize my f2p potential and makes me want to keep playing. 👍
3:15 Obsidian x Cinder domain is actually somewhat the efficient domain if you're building a Natlan DPS and Support (technically you can give the Cinder set to non-Natlan characters just with not the full buff) because Mary Shoe Say and Golden troupe can be strongbox…but yeah if you have multiple characters to build on Troupe domain that's a good route 👍
Great video as always
The Keqing Mains website will be very helpful since Im coming back to the game. Thank you 😊
Here from the discord, keep up the good work saber 🫡
It's annoying to me to farm one artifact domain to strongbox when I actually want pieces from another one. : /
i started doing this in 2.8 to get my account better, and today i dont even need to play the game more then 10 min per day, my account is not like the best but is working sooo its a grind that every genshin player need to know how easy endgame is
Imaginarium Theatre can be done as soon as you unlock it. You need 3 characters that are level 60 to start the beginner challenge. If you have the Traveler at level 60, you can change their element to match one of the three needed for Imaginarium. Then you need two more level 60s.
The beginner challenge is only three fights of level 70 enemies and you get 6 level 80 trial characters that can each be used twice. That means you just need to use one of your characters twice. If you have a friend with high level characters you can borrow one for your run and never use your own characters.
The initial run gets bonus primo gems, so it's a nice way to get a chunk of wishes earlier in the game.
I recently (last few months) started really going for achievements so I had to accept the reality that I need to build characters I don't want to, like kuki or kazuha (I didn't even want to have kazuha and pulled a C2 for him bc of how useful he is)… so I'm building some "meta" characters/teams only for achievs while still playing using my favourite ones. Nahida + Klee + Qiqi + Sayu is and will forever be my dream team 😊with dps Qiqi ofc bc my queen deserves it!
I've also been having fun with the boys team I built, Xingqiu + Chongyun + Scara + Bennet
Did this guy really put Beidou over Sucrose in the OG power five formation?
Don't get rid of all your 3 star and 4 star weapons/artifacts. For weapons, always keep at least one or two of them refined as much as you can because sometimes there are only a limited number of them in the game (thus far) and/or they end up having surprisingly busted stats (White/Black Tassel), abilities (Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers), or both (Harbinger's, Slingshot, Skyrider Greatsword) if you haven't gotten a Gacha weapon that does your needs better yet, and Artifact Artifact Sets like Exile's and Instructor's can be just what you need to give your team the extra oomph over some of the more traditional meta options.
See, the problem is I followed that principle of ignore cv for diluc because crimson witch is hell to get. Got a pyro goblet, crit rate circlet, i think atk sands. I only do 3k hits and 11k ult, which is…. Fine, but nowhere near good especially at how high the world level has gotten.
I have started farming marrechause for diluc because of being with furina all the time though, that is one thing i should have payed more attention to.
My most needed things are tenacity, golden troupe and emblem
The only thing for me that holding me from fully enjoying the game is understanding what character is what and how do I find out without looking anything up outside of the game. How do people know that Noelle is DPS and Sucrose is support what should I read to find out? Talents or Constalation? I dont get it.
I've never touched Teapot and understood absolutely nothing you said about it in the last tip. What am I losing out on?
My finish line? I've had it set ever since Kazuha released, triple crowning every single anemo character and (eventually) c6'ing them too, this has been enough to keep me playing the game for years already and I think I'll keep playing it for the foreseeable future
As someone who just wants to enjoy the games story comfortably, I have watched way to many streamers and other content creators build insane characters to the point where I didn’t know who to build my own and what to focus on. I didn’t need them to put out insane damage, they just had to work fine. But it is hard to find help as a new player with no experience. So thanks for this quick guide.
Edit: no shame to those content creators. I love watching the insane numbers their characters put out. But as a newbie, I simply lost my focus on the important things. Just putting this out there because I am certain I am not the only one with this problem.
DPS Improvement Priority:
1. Weapon level (Target 90 as anyone can use level 90 weapon) – Also weapon selection for the character.
2. Character level and talent (make sure to prioritize DPS talents first)
3. Appropriate Artifact sets for DPS and supports (look for proper stats relevant for their roles and stats scaling) and aim to level 20 every finalized artifacts
4. Min-Max Artifact for your DPS.
To accomplish all these you will need to do as follow:
1. Consistent Exploration Daily to earn mainly Ores and Mora. (3 ores, 2 mora)
2. Do a weekly mining runs. Mark the lucrative mining locations on your map. Underground Chasm has the most concentrated Crystal Chunks.
3. Forge 40 Mystic Enhancement Ores daily (max 60) until you ran out of Chunks (reserve some ores to craft weapons in case you need them) – these have daily limit, you can't slack if you want to level 90 your weapons on day 1 of getting them (or be forced to spend resin to use Magical Crystal Chunks).
4. Be sure to do Leylines at least 20 a week (to satisfy BP weekly requirements) – Balance between exp book and mora depending on what is lacking
5. Spend the remaining resins on boss, talent domains, weapon material domain, and finally artifact domain. Note which days your materials can be farmed.
6. Don't sleep on Weekly Bosses. Do 3 weekly and focus on the material you need for your characters. You need them for talent level 7 and up. Have some reserved for future character pulls.
7. Level up your Teapot. The higher the teapot level, the faster you generate resources. Make sure to claim those resources and purchase appropriate materials as needed. Reserve some realm currency for some emergencies once your teapot is maxed.
AR58 My goal with my account is to have enough characters build to do 36* abyss consistently. Like I should be able to swap to my raiden or yelan without having to swapping weapon or artifacts and still clear abyss or reach the char's best dps in my account.
Golden troupe and MH are strongboxable so i would recommend someone who likes natlan characters to farm the natlan one and then strongbox GT and MH
While most of the tips are good for new players and folks who have been casual about the game, as a long-time player and casual spender who likes to build her account widely: veteran players, heed his words about exploration! It's a really good tip that shouldn't be ignored!
Back around the time of the Chasm's release, I got burnt out exploration and justified skipping it by telling myself "it's just some primos I'm missing out on; I can get those later and it's no problem." The fact that exploration gets you mora, weapon upgrade crystals, talent books (!!!), and then additional varied resources via things like the Fountain of Lucine, was completely missed on me. I didn't get back into exploring until Chenyu Vale released and oh boy… I wasted so much resin on leylines and talent domains to still build the characters I was pulling to a baseline, when I could've spent that resin either on artifacts, or on the talent domains to crown my mains.
So if you're burnt out, definitely put exploration on the back burner, but don't forget how valuable it can be towards your account's growth. Try dipping your toes back into it every version or so, and ride your "I really want to explore these zones!" moods as you can to get those precious materials.
im a semi casual player and only have abt two teams’ worth of character thats at an okay status in terms of hardcore player’s pov,
but it still annoys me how its not enough to complete part 6 of the theater/ get the character running effects, as well as not being able to surpass the natlan’s nightsoul challenge that grants u five different chests
Well I got 50 fragile resins and AR 47 what should I do with them?
I fell into the crit value trap early on and by the time I realized it, I had enough good sets that it didn't matter anymore lol.
my best CV piece is 15% crit rate on a crit dmg circlet. but I use the same four sets for everyone because I was obsessed with a few key domains lol (particularly Emblem/shimenawa and clam/husk. Though it was funny when I realized that my retracing bolide set was perfect for my mualani.)
I'm trying to fix my builds but I hate doing the weekly bosses, so my talents are underleveled for the most part. I might start going into coop as a healer because my C5 triple crowned qiqi can face tank almost anything and do a bit of damage on the side with her clam set.
My Goal hmm
My original goal has been achieved. I have kuki shinobu
I guess its just C2R1 Chasca, Alhaitham and Skirk
Watching this at AR 60 with more than enough characters for visionary: huh, yeah, that's good advice
I really needed this, thank you so much
Thank you for introducing me to KeqingMains.
Nice video. My only comment is to use your leftover teapot currency (after using 1,200 for fragile resin) on the artifact exp potions. There are many resinless sources of mora, exp and weapon upgrade crystals (commissions, bounties, exploration, mining, daily dispatches, dailies etc) but artifact exp is hard to come by without using resin.
Getting the proper main stat on an artifact set is easier than it sounds when you account is like mine and has the DEF curse…while having no main dps that scales from DEF 😢
My finish line is getting C6 Mavuika. Don’t ask
It only took 7 steps… 7 steps the size of 1000 regular ones
