I think you should read the genshin impact official manga or comic, it tells some background stories from certain characters. You will understand a lot better some personalities and stories that may not dig deep down of it in game (sorry for my english).
Love how the series is going on, you'll even love more about the main story and exploring the new regions, it gets insanely funny.

you should look for videos for characters builds and teams. Diluc and nahida dont usually go on the same team, Diluc usually plays vaporize (pyro+hydro) and nahida runs on hyperbloom (dendro+hydro+electro). Xingqiu is a really good 4 star that fits on both teams. You shouldnt start farming artifacts until adventure rank 45(5 star artifacts are not guaranteed until rank 45). Also, stack as much elemental mastery on kuki as you can.

you should play whatever character you like, especially based on the type of gameplay you like.
a few tips tho:
1. reputation is kinda important.. you get rewarda, but also, at certain reputation levels, you get a crafting recipe for compass and a gadget for oculus finding
2. expedition is important. You get many free resources, which could be really useful at the start and even afterward in the game.
3. there is a training guide which you can find in the menu. it shows how strong your characters are based on categories like artifacts, weapons, etc. and it also shows you which weapon, artifact, etc. is the most suitable for your character, including f2p one's
4. i do recommend always collecting oculuses and upgrading your statue because you will need the stanima
I discovered your YouTube channel a couple days ago. I love your commentary you're full of energy and you're funny as heck š I can tell you're playing Genshin because you truly enjoy it and not just for views. A lot of people get burnt out from Genshin because it requires a lot of grinding and time put into it. So I'm not expecting you to finish the playthrough on it, but for what it is, it's definitely the best playthrough I've seen. This is coming from a veteran player who started in the beta version.
The further you progress your adventure the more you'll see how the fanbase of it grew and the funding along with it. With every new update the game continues to impress and raise the bar.
Anyway, I discovered you from your video reacting to Genshin character trailers because I was curious on how a new player would blindly react to each character. You got so hyped almost everytime watching each character's trailer and that energy was infectious. Made me smile in real life and laugh out loud. I hope your channel grows and you gain more fans because you're super underrated. I won't be looking forward to solely Genshin playthrough videos, but any video you make. You have the ability to make any playthrough enjoyable to watch because of your personality!

Nahida scales on Elemental Mastery (EM) The more she has the better. Prototype amber is HP based, that would be better for Neuvillette or a healer.
If you plan on getting Neuvillette later (which you should because heās literally the best character in the game DPS wise. He can work solo easily, low investment, Big power washing damage, self healing, has range, consistent damage) you should get prototype amber too as well, but for Nahida I recommend 100% Mappa Mare.

Despite the geo element, navia doesnt need a SINGLE geo character in her team, her paired with bennet in a team is just the best pair, her damage scaling is great with almost 0 investment! Ive seen lvl 1 navias hot 23k!

You donāt have to wait and go through quests to get to other regions.You can either tp to waypoints or you could walk until you get to Fontaine.
Tip: When you get to Fontaine waters, you can dive in the water and get youāre energy back when swimming.
You should definitely read the manga. The whole lore about Mondstadt and the Fatui is greatly explained there. The artstyle and the fight scenes are intense too

Also a tip for game enjoyment, I say donāt hurry to go to the other regions. I think just playing along with the main story is much more fun. Also as someone who hasnāt spent much money on the game, I think I feel a lot for fulfillment when I donāt spend to get characters. Other than the spiral abyss the game is pretty easy to beat with any characters.

I kno this video came out a couple days ago but as for the daily question, thought it'd be fun to answer!
I started Jan 2023, and honestly started playing because I saw a bunch of hate about it online and wanted to see why it was so disliked, if it deserves the hate so to say.
But completely fell in love with the game just some hours in and been playing since. Just some weeks ago turned AR60 with 3310hours on the clock.
I'm not an addict. I swear.
Either way, it's fun to see new people play this game for the first time when I can't do it again. š
