Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed this double phase Capitano boss theme!
As we are approaching Natlan sooner or later and we know that weāll be facing Capitano in Natlan, I think itās a good time to finally make a double phase theme for him. The previous one I made was just a single fan-made battle theme without any phases. I wanted to create a similar treatment to Capitano as what I did to Arlecchinoās. So here it is!
The phase 1 was entirely new while the phase 2 was an improved version of the previous battle theme. I really liked the previous one I made so what I did was to polish it even further and added subtle electronic elements to it. I tried to find the flaws in the original one and tried my best to improve the flaws and I hope you can feel the difference! Meanwhile, the phase 1 theme was more focused on the electronic aspect. I have been enjoying sound design a lot these past few weeks and I hope to showcase some of it in the phase 1 theme. And I personally think itās fitting as well since I wanted to capture the terror that Capitano might give us if we ever have to face him in a fight.
I had a lot of fun making this one and itās good to be back with double phase videos as it is very entertaining for me and challenges my skill as well. I Remember when your previous version of capitanos boss theme came out and ive been listening to it on repeat ever since! I appreciate how you still kept the choir in phase 2. I dont know how to call it but that fast beat the "DUDUDUDU" in the background at 6:21 sounds so good. This is amazing!!!

Most anticipated and intriguing character ever for me.
This gives me the impression of both a menacing yet also noble warrior. I believe that his cause is a just one. My belief is that you fight a man who goes to war to end it. The idea that you are fighting a righteous man is even more terrifying than if you're fighting an evil one. After all, what do you do when two protagonist like characters meet on the battlefield? Who's to say that you're right and he's wrong? What if you're in the wrong here? His morals against yours. Would you even be the good guy anymore?
Capitano, one man army, the gods tamer, slaughter on battlefield, fearless and tough, absolutele unit.I can't wait for the strongest in Natlan.
If the Capitano is just an ordinary human who is so ridiculously strong and overpowered to take 1st rank in the strongest teyvat military organization among the various strongest creatures of teyvat, then this is simply unbelievable and will increase his badassery beyond the limits

this is so cool!!! I've actually been wondering how the hoyo-mix team would make his boss theme if he does become one. I was thinking it could be cool if they made it very barbaric sounding, since they talk about him having incredible strength yet still being human. It'd be cool if his theme sounded like something made for vikings.

This is amazing!!! It's great how you used the classic harbinger battle vibe (like hoyo does too for the bosses) and gave it this horrifying melody that circulates around you… and in the second phase you can literally hear this massiv and powerful guy approach you (and you're like well frick I am dead now…)
Also I think the part at 1:37 is amazing it sounds like capitano walks up on the field like a one man army about to completely destroy his enemys (a scene that I can imagine very well… afterall we should get to see him in Natlan the nation of fire and war…)

Yes! Yes! I was waiting for this Natlan around the corner. Finally we get to see the righteous, stoic captain of the Fatui Harbingers (I assume). This rhythm and choir really suits the fact that he is likely one of the strongest beings in Teyvat. His battle will surely one of the toughest in the game!
So this is what it feels like being a demon who just saw the Doom Slayer approach it, but in Teyvatian style
I hope he brings back physical meta back since heās the strongest man in Teyvat

You heard that he was "human", so a part of you thought he won't be THAT hard…right ?
Right…?
Wrong, he may be "human", but he's not "just human"…and on top of his physical durability, he posses powerful "sharp" attacks that can bleed you
In his first phase, he has 100k HP, representing our belief that he won't be "that" hard due to his human nature, but has 99% damage reduction, turning your hundred thousand damages into mere thousands, as a symbol of his strength, because he will always…ALWAYS…block your attacks. He only attacks physically, but still manages to put you in a hard time, as your HP will bleed when you take a damage from him, removing 5% of the max HP every second after you take a hit, shielded or not, whatever attack he does.
You then slowly but surely began to tire him with weak attacks, and that allows you to force this "human" to get serious, showing his true nature…a monster…once we chipped him into 2.5k HP, showing a more twisted side of him…here, you figured out why Capitano has people rooting and admiring him…because he always gives his 100%…but this time…he's going to give you his 300%…
He only has 2500 "HP" this time, but no matter how strong you attack, they are no more than mosquito bites to him, giving only 1 damage to him. He also attacks with all kinds of 7 elements in such a genius combination, showing that warfare isn't just about strength, and that a true warrior must have admirable wits. The bleed became twice as strong, and deadlier. He also has an instant kill move using all the 7 elements delusions simultaneously, along with various powerful attacks that removes an absurd amount of HP…
You found out just how dangerous this monster is, but you have no time to worry about that…because your only choice now is to beat this monster by throwing all you can think of at him, hoping they will somehow work…
Shortly…
1st phase :
Physical only
100k HP (Basically 10m if the damage reduction is considered)
2nd phase :
Physical + 7 elements + reactions
2500 hits to beat, even your best DPS may fail you here…
I can easily imagine how they would give Capitano a "Godstep" like Isshin Ashina from Sekiro, where he'd just take a step aside to dodge an attack of the Traveler and then instantly counter hits them! Like no dash, no blink, no port, just a normal human step aside.

Gadang… This is awesome. This EDM Synth military march is absolute fire. This also makes me scared to fight Capitano in Natlan because of this menacing yet badass theme, again, I'm picturing this man on a Dragon. Phase 1 really sets the tone for the Nigh Invincible Captain and his power and the improved Phase 2 was AWESOME! You really seem to like those electronic "Oppenheimer-ish" sounds don't you? Not that I'm complaining
I've got some more ideas now for you to think about
1. I would like all of the Harbingers to have 2 phase themes at some point, partially because I'm a completionist if you get what I mean and also because you always seem to do your previous music justice and improve upon what you did before (Pulcinella, Sandrone, and Pantalone are the remaining ones. I will also include the Tsaritsa)
2. An improved version of your Scaramouche boss theme, it was your first one and since we now know more about Scaramouche and he had his whole character arc, I think you can do awesome with an improved version of Scaramouche's Boss Theme
3. Speaking of Scaramouche, I would like to see you do a remix or your own take on the Shouki no Kami boss theme, the whole thing. It's one of my favorites Genshin has to offer and I respect and appreciate your work, so I trust in your power
4. This one is especially personal. I would like to see an epic-ified Keqing theme. Why you ask? Because she's my 2nd favorite character behind Ei, and she is NOT DONE JUSTICE enough! My favorite swordswoman doesn't have a hangout or story quest of her own and people always hated on her in earlier meta versions š. So I would appreciate it if you can give her a worthy epic theme, because like I've said, I trust in your power
5. This one depends on whether or not you've heard of Xenoblade Chronicles, specifically XC2, if you have, I would like some music covers of the music in that game, I'll specify later
Another Masterpiece yet again, Bravo! I feel like it really adds up to The Captain as well, Especially his second phase, It matched his characteristics based off of what weāve gotten off his appearance and ingame from the dialogue! Good work as always! Keep it up!!
