If Yu-Peng Chen Wrote Fontaine's Music | A Genshin Impact Edit

Made a quick edit after listening to Yu-Peng Chen’s song from his album – “Fantasyland” releasing on 7/19/2024. The music is a tango sort of style that made me reminiscent of Fontaine’s music style, a region without the involvement of Yu-Peng Chen in the music production. Anyways, hope you all enjoy my edit and please like and subscribe if you liked it! Also please support him if you haven’t already on his new youtube channel!

  1. Made a quick edit after listening to Yu-Peng Chen's pre-release MV for his album – "Fantasyland" releasing on 7/19/2024. The music is a tango sort of style that made me reminiscent of Fontaine, a region without the involvement of Yu-Peng Chen in it's music production. Edit: A message sent by Yu-Peng Chen in his group chat – "On the day of leaving office, I cried a lot before writing the song (referring to the penultimate song in his new album). This world (Genshin Impact) was full of my precious memories. I was very reluctant to leave."
(He left to give this precious experience to the talented younger generation on the team)

  2. The original track for this scene is equally as moving, that can't be denied man. Overall I'm sure Mr. Chen would've done a phenomenal job on the entirety of Fontaine if it was his work, but Fontaine music is still good with the composers that we do have. And honestly, if this music was to come out of fontaine right now without Chens signature on it already, yall would not be able to differentiate between them. Much of fontaines music stylistically matches with what Chen has just released. Both pieces of music are superb, it's just that one is adapted for the game

  3. For all the people said YPC is best composer, go support his channel and stop TRASHTALK ON GENSHIN CURRENT MUSIC just because it's not composed by your most desired man.. Stupid yappers..

Look at his channel.. Look at the views.. He must be got at least a hundred subs if only y'all mean of anything you said here, biggots

  4. You can't say that YPC had no influence with some of the Fontaine tracks. The main theme has YPC touch in it, imo. Too bad that it seems like he didn't have involvement in Arlechino boss theme.

  5. Genshin Impact player: Try not to show your biased opinion over YPC by calling Fontaine music ass
    But fr tho
Fontaine was great tf you mean it was ass
Many of my fav theme's aren't composed my YPC
He left the company to make his own career and let the newer composer shines and let their names be heard
And yall are shitting on his legacy

  6. I think we really gonna notice Yu-Peng Cheng departure in Natlan. Fontaine was very very good, but it was similar to Mondstadt in several instances, Natlan is completely new horizons and there is not much you can do when all your Region-Inspired instruments are percusion-based or the pan-flute.

  7. I mean, tbh, if Fontaine had one more part which would have been much more Spian inspired than French or England inspired, I would say yes to that track on top of the existing track. But as sime replacement/ what we would have on a 'what if'? Big meh from me, ngl. (Ngl, I would have like to have an emoji to give the idea of the horizontal hand rotating left and right to indicate it's in the middle, if anyone catches my drift here)
