I LOVE Symphony of Boreal Wind || Opera Singer Listens to Genshin Impact

Ever since I heard this the first time I’ve been absolutely blown away by it, as it stands, it’s my favorite track in Genshin Impact. Just so satisfyingly beautiful. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

  1. Yeah, i love this boss theme. When i saw this video, i was scared because i thought that it was only the second phase. Thank god that it was both phases.
And while i do love every track in this game, my favorites are always the weekly bosses theme. Dvalin, Andrius, Tartaglia, Azhdaha, Signora and Raiden Shogun. All of the their boss themes slaps so hard. And soon, and new weekly boss will be added, and thus, a new boss theme. I can't wait to hear it.
Also, Andrius is the only one who treats us nicely(excpet when it comes to Razor's story quest).
When we challenge him, fog arises, znd we see his glowing eyes, and he slowly walks, and he asks "Do you wish to test your skills, Traveler?". I always answer, "Yes! Let us have a fun fight!!". He is so cool!

  2. Probably because of this song, Andrius is the first boss who made me grip for real this game after I started it by curiosity. I completely lost our first match, but I happily came back to make better acquitance with this noble predator

  3. yeeess the theme that send me chills over my spine when I heard it first time
This boss arena, theme and music is out of league compared to other stuff you see it before you reach that fight. I remember that back in early days of Genshin people were like "wtf is this Dark Souls boss in my gatcha game? mom hold my hand I'm scared!"

I wish devs could do the same with Genshin bosses like FF14 devs done with bosses: savage/extreme difficulty so we can again enjoy those themes + enjoy PROPER boss fights instead of just le lmao Andrius got deleted in less than minute. Let me fight lv 120+ Andrius where screen goes pitch black during intermission so it's impossible to see from what side he is dashing, he does multiple dashes same time (with clones), in first phase he throws your around like a ragdoll and during last phase you must deal with literal hell of bullethell of ice shard drops and mini ghost wolfs charging at you from all directions while still avoiding boss attacks.

  4. What I love about videos like these is that they make me realize how great are some Genshin songs that I overlooked in my playthrough. The wolf deity was my very first boss fight and I didn't know exactly what to expect from the game, I mean, I approached it like I would approach any other game, it just had a very interesting story. Now that I'm a seasoned player I know that hoyoverse but a lot of effort in the quality and strength of the game music, and in general all the artistic side. I should really look back and retrace my steps with the knowledge I have now.
I mean, something like that already happened to me when I went back to Dragonspine lately to look for some leftover chests and the music started playing and i was like "wait what, has this insane music always been there?"

  5. When i started playing Genshin (1.2) Andreas battle theme part 2 was my favorite piece of music in the entire game. But now i am not sure since we have Azdaha, Signora and entire Sumeru. Nevertheless i still love this piece of music.
I aslo love how piano, flutes and (at lesser point) strings represents two elements Andreas have: wind and ice, that giving you will you're in the middle of blizzard

  7. I love Symphony of Boreal Wind, especially the second phase. It's one of Genshin's greatest pieces in my opinion. I remember how I noticed the music in the middle of my first battle with him and how hard it suddenly became to fight because I wanted to listen to it too – but I was nowhere strong enough to just stop fighting and listen, he'd kill me easily and everything would end. It's a pity most people don't get to hear it in the game since if they even go fight Andrius, they're done with him long before the music actually starts.

  8. About mystery.
Andrius came from beyond the Dark Sea. "Once, he had been king of his pack, leading them in the hunt, in battle, and in the search for a home… Now, the sole remaining legacy of those days were the scars that covered his body."
He crossed Legendary Wastelands, untill he eventually met a lonely ancestor of all Seelies, and Andrius sang his sad song of the wolves after hearing sad song of the Seelie. Then, he crossed the Dark Sea and reached the continent of Teyvat.
This wasteland is said to be a land beyond the dominion of the deities, inhabited only by the grotesque ghostly remains of fallen gods, where the former palaces of the Seelie now stand empty.

  9. Man it's been so long since I've fought Andrius and heard this ingame.
This video is a good reminder of why I like it so much.
Also I can't wait till you get to the Chasm: Underground Mines and Explore it and its unique soundtrack. (The final area of the mines has my favorite regular battle theme in the whole game, "inevitable conflict" It's so great.)

  10. When you just started listening to the music from Genshin Impact, do you remember I suggested to you several times to listen to the theme of Andrius? 🙂 Finally it happened. Hugs! 🙂 This is one of my favorite themes in the entire game. Andrius, even being a spirit, is still very powerful, what can we say about his power when he was alive? If you look in the lore of the game, you can find out that at one time Andrius kept the entire Mondstad frozen when he was at enmity with the Decarabian. When the Decarabian was killed, Barbatos offered Andrius to become ruler and archon, but he refused.

  11. The two "phases" represent Andrius' life, before he arrived to Teyvat and after.
The first one is about his lonely wandering across the Legendary Wastelands/Dark Lands, another continent which all wolves came from, and where he met the first Seelie who is the last singing Seelie, which has not yet lost her graceful form and voice. They exchanged their songs. Andrius' song was about wolves' grief over the Three Moon Sisters, from which only one corpse still remains. Seelie sang a song of the Seelies, written for the human savages, but then she sang it to mourn Seelies' fate.

The second one is about his war with Lord of the Tower, Decarabian, Lord of Storms. "The Age of Kings" begun with the King of the North delcaring a war against the King of Gales.

  12. symphony of boreal wind is definitely one of my favorite battle themes (it's competing pretty fiercely with childe's battle theme), and the tick-tock effect is really one of the reasons why. it's droning in the background and it gives a sense of rythmic urgency, like a foreboding dread that looms. the entire thing definitely oozes a Vibe. it's just so good.
sometimes i deliberately battle andrius just for the music even if i can't get the rewards anymore, though more often than not i got my butt kicked because i don't have a decent shielder. one of these days i swear zhongli will come home, and i'll finally be able to play with team comps instead of relying on kokomi's heals all the time.

  13. I absolutely love this one, there's something kinda icy about it too. (Maybe that dnb break filtering sounds especially icy to me cause I used to play a ton of SSX 3, where they filter the music along with the action)
4:50 This chord change really reminds me of some music from the Zelda series and some other games, such an amazingly colorful sound, I could easily hear an altered version of this theme play in like a Link to the Past dungeon, or maybe in a mysterious snowy woods.

  14. You probably understand Andrius more than Razor does. 😂
There are many possible nuances to his character that I never thought of before you discussed them here.
