“Shadows in the Sand” is a cinematic animated short telling a condensed version of events from “The Dirge of Bilqis” world quest series from “Genshin Impact”. A girl named Jeht seeks out the legendary Eternal Oasis at the heart of the desert to put her parents to rest. Plots and betrayals threaten to overwhelm her and bury her in the sands. Can she survive?

  1. This was many months in the making. When I started on the original teaser trailer, it was just me and Bonny. In the end we had a full team of people with crazy talents! I learned an insane amount from doing this, and I realised this is what I want to do to make a living. But to do that, I need your help.

  20. That's such a gigantic work! I definitely will send it to everyone who plays GI 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️
    I felt like sending this to my friends who never played Genshin, but the trailer contents so many spoilers.
    And an animation genre requires eyes as a way to tell an inner story of a character. I don't know if anyone else thinks of removing Jeht's band as an improvement.

  23. Honestly better then the game. There is too much reading in a lot of the side quests and I end up skipping what is probably a decent story most of the time. I wish these cutscenes were in the game and the longer story side quests were voice acted. Keep up the good work!
