  1. Personally I think that Raiden has this C2 because she is an Archon and she was hyped out very hard. Every archon has on C2 or before some of defense shred. On Raiden is more significant because she can offer significant DPS in a short time in her burst, every other Archons are more support oriented. We will see what happens when the hydro Archon banner appears, it may not have an op C2 because we already have the hydro Archon Xinqiu.

  2. I think hoyoverse just wants more money by making some characters stronger at c6 instead of c2 or 3 they've made that obvious since Nahida is the only character that comes up better at c2 like Raiden.

  3. Meanwhile Venti’s the only archon which C2 barely does anything (even before Faruzan most players wouldn’t even remember or know his C2 was anemo — and physical — res shred). Zhongli’s at least allows him to shield while doing some damage, and offering CC.

  4. I’m personally confused as to who is good or not good. Every time I watch big YouTubers or Twitch streamers, they never play anyone except the same characters. I rarely see Xiao or Raiden or Yelan, or any 4 stars but Xingqiu, Xiangling and Bennett. Alongside Nahida and Kazuha. With all the characters in this game, they can’t ALL be unplayable right?

  5. As a general principle, one has to be very cautious when it comes to constellations as they're expensive and in terms of value, what you are really paying for is an incremental improvement which in the final analysis, has lesser value than the original cost for the first copy of the character. For my account, I do have some constellations for some of my 5 stars, with Raiden and Miko both at C3, in Miko's case by accident rather than by design (I wanted constellations for Layla). Plus I do have a C6 Diluc simply because I lost a lot 50/50s but, for me that's a plus as he's still really good and at C6 is pretty insanely good.

However, I will always stick to my monthly Genshin expenditure budget. This month I wanted C1 Hu Tao and one copy of the Staff of Homa. Been waiting a year for these and fortunately I managed to get both within my budget. So much as I love Yelan, mine's going to have to wait for another rerun before I reconsider getting any constellations for her. Fortunately, Yelan's fine at C0, she's completely functional and still hits like a truck wherein C0 Hu Tao tends to run out of steam mid-fights leaving her de facto useless. With her C1 and honestly, I kind of regret getting the Staff of Homa as she was perfectly fine with her C5 Dragon's Bane, she's much more effective and a lot more fun. So I've got my money's worth this time around.

The lesson here for anyone reading this is to be VERY selective with how you invest your primos/money with regards to Genshin. Consider carefully if your next planned investment is really worth it. Make sure your decisions are truly beneficial to your account and your enjoyment of the game. Unfortunately, especially if you're going to spend money on the game, it can easily get really expensive, really fast. The average price of a 5 star character is on average more than the cost of buying a new game…

  6. Even though I know raiden C2 is busted I never cared for it because I don't like playing raiden much in ow and for abyss I didn't like her national or hyper teams much
But nahida C2 I invested into it in a heart beat being able to both onfield and offield and it's a team buff rather than a selfish con you can even make kokomi crit indirectly with blooms lol and boost to all dendro teams.
Now I am looking forward to hydro archon gotta start saving sometime from 3.8 or 4.0 for her C2 if it's a team one like nahida then she will be lot of fun too

  7. I know why.. It was a mistake!
They have moved to making very good C2s for "most" of the 5 star characters since her release, just not as OP as hers (besides Nahida's which is OP).
With Raiden, some last minute changes were made just before release (such as burst swings not working with Beidou, swapping some constellations around and adjusting numbers). Resulting in Raiden at C2 being more powerful than they anticipated. They have since corrected that train of thought and now go overboard to make characters weaker than originally designed, to fight against power creep IMO.

    Anyway good video!

  8. Probably just archon get to have that privilege. Raiden is that strong c2, nahida is also that. Starting from raiden they know they're not allowed to fuck around with archon. Venti and zhongli probably the only 2 didn't get that privilege because they didn't know how serious it is. Starting after zhongli, things changed.

  9. I have Raiden at c0 without her signature weapon. I kind of want to get c2/c3 with her weap but I don't really play her currently so my fear is I get it and she will still be a bench warmer.

  10. I think they still always did that tho, problem is the newer characters, unless they're archons, are usually deemed as weak so even when their C2 is actually on the same level as Raiden, ppl often just shrugged it off as "They're just using C2 to bait for what should've been C0" Clear example is Cyno whose C2 actually gives comparable dmg increase to Raiden's C2, but since Cyno is usually viewed as weak by most, ppl just trashed on him for "needing C2 to perform like C0"…
Also, honestly can never understand why Yelan's C6 is just so overrated. You can't even vape that shit bcs of ICD but so many ppl seemed to hail it as the strongest C6 for some reason…

  12. They probably make less money. If people are stopping at c2.

Most people probably can only get c2 if they’re lucky as well. So they need to make the other cons more enticing to get us to spend more.

  13. My biggest regret is going to be c2 my raiden shogun.Had I knew they would never release endgame earlier,I would probably save up for more versatile cracked constellations like nahida c2.

  14. Raiden is the only limited I have cons for, and as mentioned elsewhere, right now, Nahida is the only other one I'm considering it for. It's just with the influx of a new element, I'm hesitant to use the primos (as a light spender) for power spikes as opposed to entire new units. I feel like the back half of version 2 didn't have too many units that interest me so C2 Raiden was doable. Now though… Sumeru units (mostly) are appealing to me, and I (mostly) want them all.
