My thing is this: if they weren't planning on doing a shop, why did they keep Linyang's dialogue where she says we can exchange them? I feel like that was kinda lazy, and I know a lot of players are upset and confused. Yeah the claymore and materials were nice, but what's the point in being told we can exchange if there's no way to do so?

This is kinda dumb. If it was really part of the game event, it should have been there.(It wasn't announced as well) "It does make sense that there's a week left"? — It doesn't make sense. In real life basis, not all of us is just playing around. Some has to work as well. 1 week is just an extension in case that they may not be able to do it in time, got bored looking for the scattered chests and charms. All we can do, is to wait for a new one.
We might also be getting the 5* Skyward Blade Lumine's holding at that cutscene in the event, who knows…
