  1. Wishing feels like mostly waste of effort .
    9/10 wishes are useless 3 stars . And then 1 4 star which i don't even want . And then loosing 5050 ..
    It's like thier is barrier after barrier for me to get what i want .
    I don't ever wanna play a gacha game after playing genshin .

  2. And please for the love of everything make chests in exploration actually worth something. I have no motivation to explore because it never amounts to finding anything amazing, nothing worth while.

  3. There is no good way of re -exploration as soon u are done opening all the chests and items on that area . There is no reason to ever go there ever agian.
    Like ekinomiya or tsrumi island . Or the chasam . I bet not even 1 percent of the players ever go there after the quests and chests are done .

  4. This game have a serious problem with its climbing system . It's just so hard to climb anything in Inazuma . I keep getting stuck . It really gets on my nerves.

A big thing about Genshin and other similar gacha games, for me, is the sameness of the characters either young women, kid characters or skinny-ish guys and sure it's the artists right to make what ever designs they want, but when you look at like say FGO they got a very broad range of different kinds of characters from chads to grampa's and fully armored characters to creepy fiends and then there's the straight up monster characters all of which attract more people who like them. Sure it may not be as profitable as a typical Waifu or Husbando but there's a sizable market considering FGO and other games that have non standard characters keep making them, and with Genshin's ease of accessibility it stands to gain the most from appealing to said crowd.

  6. 10:08 I love that you've brought this up, because they've already done this in a semi "Open world" part of their previous game Honkai Impact 3rd, in APHO 2 your characters can gain a 2nd Ultimate or Charged attack skill by progressing through the story and completing certain "domains" to obtain the item to unlock that skill. So it'd be great to seem them add this to Genshin as they've already had experience with this kind of system before.

  7. (long ass comment, I have marked each point and explained them, they won't happen tho, its more a "I wish" list)
    I have no intention to watch the video, too long, maybe later. but these are some of my ideas, AR 60 if u care.
    This game has a resin problem, is too slow. Overall is too slow. Even a single character could take some time if u are low on resources, and that translates into a more boring gameplay, to me at least.
    So

    – Alternate the 2 artifacts in a
    domain each day
    Dude the farm is already bad as it is, but this could greatly speed up things, if I want to farm just the blizzard let me do it, I can wait one day.

    – Mora farm
    I really think mora should be farmable indefinitely, maybe with a really hard event, but without a resin cost obv. This would provide content, because people need mora; if it's hard is also fun in my opinion so that could be entertaining while being endgame content

    – remove sprint cooldown
    I think that ruins the exploration of the game quite a lot, I want golden lungs for my characters.
    BUT cooldown should stay for everything that involves fighting, so it doesn't unbalance things.

    – A skip button, I beg you
    Some people play just for the gacha, and don't give a damn about the story. Sometimes I would just love to skip dialogs of some events but I just HAVE to watch it. This I think could attract more people into the game.

    -BUFF OLD CHARACTERS
    This could be done by another challenging event, maybe with limitations? Like only geo, only swords… I think could be something new.
    But this is so vital for the game, it carries the hype.
    New character drops, Jesus. Oh no I lost pity and didn't find Jesus, but I have my "new" busted Amber and can take her into the abyss.

    – new endgame content
    This is needed, and I mentioned some example before. Maybe a solo challenge dunno, I'm not a game designer but do something that is challenging and I want to repeat Maybe with differ team. Fun is key afterall.

    -True Event reruns, not a sequel
    This would be so easy to do, they don't even need to do crazy stuff, just put rerun in the title and we're good. For me they even can cut the primogems and give us more common stuff, but again, more content and:
    •This could be nice because people could finally get old free weapons. The first example is Albedo with that Def Stat, imagine someone that wants him but doesn't have even the chance to get his best weapon (I presume)
    •people could enjoy old events and, a newer player, see interactions that he never saw, while truly playing the game, like the summer event with all those character development. And not watching a video on yt (example)

    – new text in game
    I dunno how to title or explain this, but I will try. I mean that they need more "cool dialogue"; to me it feels plain, with some bad jokes here and there, it just too formal? I don't expect that u guys comprehend, I can't explain myself properly, but the game doesn't engage the player in the reading, most of the times.

    -More features on coop
    I honestly don't know if there's new stuff, I honestly don't care and I like playing genshin alone, but I do believe u can't still activate waypoints. That is just an example but make it better there's nothing to do, nothing. Ok I have helped you clearing domain x, goodbye. I need this item, help me, goodbye. Could be me, but it sucks.

  8. I'm so happy you pointed a LOT of the features Genshin is lacking because it always feels like they refuse to focus on the core game and always just trying to push forward to fix what was missing in the previous region.

    la signora was done so damn dirty , and i legit find the shogun bot to be a more intriguing character than the actual FREAKIN ARCHON.

  10. I would enjoy seeing "Second skills," but they don't have to do every character at once. They can do it similar to how Marvel Future Fight handled their upgrade phases, where at first everyone had only 4 skills, then they added a new level tier to characters, but only to 3-4 of them, and then each patch they would add 2-3 more characters that can do that, and so on, until every character was covered. In Genshin, they could upgrade just the characters most in need of them, like Dehya, and build outward from there. I was thinking they might use Delusions for this purpose, give us alt versions of the character similar to alternate Travelers that have a different element and weapon. Of course, they'd have to work out the toxicity issue. . .

    Your claims on "primos from commissions" are VERY misleading. Yes, the absolute minimum daily primos is fairly low, but that's only because they shifted their budget more toward exploration and events. If all you do is log in and grind in Monstadt, you don't get many rolls, if you actually complete all the content, you get plenty of rolls, especially for new players who have three years of content to explore. And factoring in the pity system that guarantees the character you want in under 180 rolls. Would I like more? Of course. do I need more? I can't honestly say that I do. I wouldn't mind if they removed the primos from Abyss though.

    The whole Resin diatribe is complete "non-Genshinplayer bait." "Oh, look how awful this aspect of Genshin is!" Genshin players know that Resin is not a problem. Genshin players do not use Resin refresh at all. That is just a mechanic for content creators who want to "crazy grind" stuff in short time, or whales who only want to play occasionally. They have NO need to mess with Resin in any way, aside from perhaps expanding the maximum amount to 200. They definitely should never add new Resin-based or infinitely grindable content.

    I do support some method of making it easier to get better artifacts, but think it would be idiotic to then add NEW RNG to the process in the form of new bonus stats. NO! What nonsense is that? No, just make it easier to get the existing god rolled stats in some way, there is no need to "raise the cap."

    I do think there is a good argument for making "buying gems" cheaper though. I get the Welkin, and I think that's a fair amount, and like I said, I think the free amount is fine, but I will never spend money directly on primos at their normal rates, because I just think the cost/value is bonkers on that. Pure krill. If they had some option to buy some more gems at a more reasonable rate, I might spend more than I do. Maybe the ability to stack 2-3 Welkins for amount rather than just duration, or if they had one-time/once per year gem buys that were 2-3 times better than the current "one time discount" offers. If it's still limited in total amount, then it shouldn't put too much of a dent in the whales, but it would give some real options to C2Ps, and probably make more money overall.

  11. I think most of the concerns are quite legitimate.
    Even the Daily commissions one's. Trophy hunter/completionist worst nightmare RNG achievements.
    The obvious ones like Resin, Artifacts and Wish system are the big ticket items in desperate need of fixing.
    Also if your a geo main mihoyo hates you no other to say it.
    Biggest concern though any changes requires a lot of noise on the CN boards and even then it's still 50/50 if it will be fixed no pun intended.

  12. Love the points made and truly would love to see these features or similar changes made.

    That being the case I have to say idk how/why Mihoyo is so good at generating such general pessimism as a company (at least on the genshin side). You have companies like Lasengle, Shift Up, Yostar, even Nexon at least try to listen and take player feedback about issues in their games and ways to improve them (to varying degrees of course) but with Mihoyo it not only feels like the lowest of low efforts made but just a blatant bitch slap in how adamant they seem to not want to listen to their playerbase even when some issues are either long standing with easy fixes or actively creating problems for them to artificially solve later.

    Making suggestions like this to them seems especially like wishful thinking but regardless its nice to see them being made all the same, great vid mate.

  13. This video just hammered home that Hoyoverse is intentionally making Genshin bad, so much about the game can be improved upon and yet 2-3yrs in a lot of it is this bad or worse.

    Probably best to not put anymore money into genshin until any form of improvement has occur or better yet stop entirely.

    I still love the game but so many times this company abuse their power over this game, cause they can get away with it cause “it’s their game”.

    You know, I’ll vote with my wallet. I’m at a pretty good state in the game. Time to stop pay for stuff and horde primos for character that pique my interest, If I don’t get them, fine.

  14. Imo a way to upgrade daily commissions is to add exploration comissions – imagine getting sent to monstadt that you have 100% on some corner and at the end you find a chest you missed. I know they will never give us sync for interactive map so I would know what im missing, therefore this would be a compromise. In universe it would make more sense for adventurer guild to send you to do a puzzle esp since treasure compass only finds chests that are in the open and not ones that are not 'spawned' (that spawn after completing puzzle)

    As a former fgo addict, I will now argue against story skip.
    I skipped every cutscene. I justified it with 'you can watch the story afterwards anyways, so im not losing much and I really need to get requirement for event'. I told myself that I will start watching by Camelot. Then I said I will do it for temple of time… Before long I completed Olympus and realised that I have no reason to play this game. The gameplay isn't great (a big reason why I switched to genshin), I always looked at guides to know the enemies and watched videos by honako green to get the battles over with. Events are just to make it easier to build characters but eventually I realised im logging in every day for nothing. Watching story without battles felt empty to me. If somebody narrate it maybe I could enjoy it but ofc nobody does, best you get is someone clicking through cutscenes.

    Being able to skip unnarrated scenes is understandable though. I mostly clicked through soruch questline because I was tired and didn't have the brain power to read.

    TLDR: No, a game dev should never respect the player choice, the player will always metagame the fun out of the game. There is a reason there is a quote about making something idiot proof will only produce a bigger idiot.

  15. For the crowns what I want is to use them to level 100 a char and when you do you can level skills one level extra and an extra Stat like em, er, elemental dmg etc.

  16. 38:15 I know this will never happen, however the goal of stamina system which is block your progress it's already being done by something else, THE SEVEN LAYERS OF RNG THE ARTIFACT SYSTEM HAVE.

    I reached the point where i can grt happy with just a drop (that took fot ever) because i know i have to roll substats for that piece and if already you, a big ass whale is complaining about goblets, imagine me, a guy who only buys welkin; I have Eula since her release and until today, i haven't seen a single PD Goblet with double crit stats, and i know that if it drops, i will have to roll the mf piece

  17. I have been saying for MONTHS, that they should add an unlockable a universal 6th artifact slot on all characters where you can equip every type of piece
    It would allow for so much more variety in builds since players would now be able to choose between getting the 2-piece bonus of 3 different sets or the 4-piece bonus of one set+the 2-piece bonus of another set
    I would lock this slot either behind a character quest that unlocks once you reach a certain friendship level- think of it as a mix between FGO' interludes and Another Eden's unlockable extra skill/equipment slot that every playable character in that game can unlock with some grinding

    16:37 Another Eden has this in the form of the another/extra styles- in that game you can roll either version from the gacha, but with enough grinding the characters can be sidegraded into their other version- after which you can freely switch between the 2 versions when not in combat- I would like to point out that Another Eden is the most F2P- friendly gacha I've EVER seen- loads of strong free characters, all content is PERMANENT, and most importantly- EVERY CHARACTER CAN BE FULLY MAXED LUT ONCE YOU GET AT LEAST 1 COPY OF THEM JUST BY GRINDING- yes whaling allows you to do it faster, but even f2p can eventually reach that point just by farming

    1:10:50 I'll bring up Another Eden again since back a few months ago when IOS raised the prices for all in-app purchases, WFS- the developers of the game- went ahead and actually increased the amount of premium currency in their packs for EVERBODY PERMANENTLY – even for android users who weren't affected by the price change

  18. I fully expect Hoyoverse to implement msot of these features… in their future games. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Genshin will remain mostly as is for it's entire lifetime. It's way more profitable if the players switch to another hoyoverse game and start from scratch.

  19. One of my biggest gripes with Genshin is that every. SINGLE. EVENT. IS. CANON.

    WHY?!

    In Honkai Impact, the Fall Guys event and the Irene Adler event are two SEPERATE stories that you are able to experience outside of the main story without affecting the main timeline. In Genshin, the timeline of events is fucked because I have no clue where do these things fit within the main story.

  20. what's crazy to me is that H:SR has MORE end game content on day one than genshin has in 2 years and all they did was put a tweaked version of the elysian realm gamemode from HI3 into the game,which is weird because that gamemode would fit way easier into genshin and give mihoyo an excuse to continue their ''never buff any character ever'' philosophy by giving underwhelming characters more use with exclusive buffs/playstyles for the mode

  21. – main characters should be found in the world and not just dissappear after their quest is over.
    – resources should be marked on the map after you find them (I don't want to have to use the interactive map) you should also be able to search for them like enemies.
    – every character should have their own unique hold attack.
    – the battle music should be dynamic. The battle themes for each region ramp up as they go on but most battles are already over after 20 seconds which feels like a waste.
    – the freezing and slow down form cryo should be removed and something like frostburn should be added, it's weird how only one element has movement debuffs and two at that.
    – sprinting, gliding, swimming and climbing is way too slow.
    – there should be weather effects in towns.
    – the traveler should have an actual home in each region, it doesn't even need to have a function

  22. Yeah. I finally started being capable of doing abyss 9 through 12 and I gotta say. No. It's far too much of a headache to deal with. Personally, assuming obtaining that many primogems from dailies is too much, I'd rather just get gem from weekly boss fights or maybe as a bonus for finishing 5/7 dailies every week.

  23. The point of how much money ultra whale contribute to Hoyo revenue is a little overblown. For every whale that spends like $1000 there are thousands if not ten thousands who spend $10. The dolphins and bp+moon players are the true money maker. This is definitely the reason why they don’t really cater the game to any ultra whale at all.

As someone prone to carpal tunnel who prefers to play on PC, i really wish genshin would add more controls to menu navigation that most PC games have. games that really do feel like a mobile game ported to PC implement excessive "click and drag" mechanics to emulate tapping the screen are not as ergonomically friendly on keyboard and mouse users. so for example let us scroll menus by hovering over the bottom or top of long lists, or by tapping the arrow keys on the keyboard. and let us pan around the world map by hovering over the edges, like games like zoo tycoon do. i had to put the breaks on playing genshin several times because dragging its menus around to do my dailies and character builds was hurting too much.
