  1. played yaoyao dps for 12-2 and 12-3 which were both easy 3* , but couldnt do 12-1 with even a try hard team lol. everything feels so clunky to group together and theres like layers and layers of rng as you said.

  2. as a casual f2p who doesn't really play/grind that often anymore (academics and all that), i refuse to even try to 36 star this abyss 😵 i have already saved enough for baizhu so the ~200 primos isn't really worth my stress and time 😅

  3. Did great as always, Sevy. gonna add something, take care when using bennett's burst in some chambers in the 2nd half. the hydro hilichurls' attacks with vaporize really hit hard and they can do multi strings of attacks when bunched up together. And we can't forget the 3rd chamber's cryo maguu kenki with his ice field melt damage.

  4. 12-1 took me so many retries I cannot count 💀 but then 12-2 and 12-3 were acctually fun and balanced beetwen easy and hard I only retried like once or twice

  5. Usually I aim to 36* the Abyss but the last rotation with Wenut and this time I'm very happy as long as I get at least 33*. This makes me only lose out on 50 primogems and I can retain my sanity. Hoyo is really stepping up with the Abyss difficulty.

  6. from the Consecrated Beasts, to the Wenut, then the Consecrated Beasts again, im terrified to think of how much more annoying abyss will be in Fontaine..

  7. Beidou works really good at second half of this abyss.

Her skill allows block a lot of incoming attacks, and burst is ideal for dealing with 2-4 high HP enemies and also provides damage reduction.

  8. Honestly, abyss in genshin is just a dps check.
You just need 2 teams with the right talents leveled up and a good balanced build.

Now, the problem is that unless you followed a guide from the beginning of your journey, you will try many characters for fun, waste some resouces trying new things and so on. so all players will naturally be able to beat the abyss time by time just improving talents, levels and builds.

Reason why old players can deal easly with abyss is not because they are better, but just because their accounts are maxed out and they can do 5 times the damage of a new ar55 nowadays.

That is not meant to be read as a disrespect to genshin veterans, there are a lot of great gamers between veterans that have great gaming skills ( as we can see in the vid) but instead that is just a personal opinion on how genshin's abyss works.

I prefarmed for ayaka, got ayaka, the next day i gained 4 stars in the abyss. for sure i did not become better during my sleep at night.

What i mean is that yeah strategies are ok, they surely can help, but in first place you need good stats. You just can't beat the abyss if you don't have a certaind dps.
I fought the 2 beasts of 12-1 for 3 minutes avoiding all their attacks that could basically oneshot me, if you ask me that's way harder that go in, do your rotations twice, avoid few attacks and go out. The worst part is that you even don't get rewarded cause rewards are time based, so they are based litterally on your dps.that is what you are facing when your stats are not at max, you are basically punching walls for minutes until they eventually breaks.

Just immagine if in darksouls with your level 1 characters you defeat gael but you don't get any reward cause you know, you beated him in 30 minutes instead of 6 (minutes required with full stats and gear) . As a darksouls series enjoyer i'd say that genshin's abyss is not even hard, is sadly just about timer and dps.

With that being said, i'm happy now cause i'm only 4 stars away from the 36. Just some more talents and artifacts improvement and i'll get 36 too. If only we could get more resin 😂😢

  9. For the first 2 chambers of Floor 12 I used Nilou Bloom with International on the other half.
Then I switched to Nahida Hyperbloom for the last chamber with International still on the 2nd half. Worked quite well. Much easier than last abyss with the time wasting Wenut.

  10. Nobody is talking about how the hydro hilichurls can 100 to 0 any character under 20k hp…. I know bc the only character who survives more than 1 hit from them is my Ayato who has barely over 20k……….. it’s so. Painful.
