I theorized my self for long time that what if Paimon is the embodiment of the Travelers lost power and the reason why Traveler can obtained every power of the seven is because of Paimon her self? It become more clear to me because, Traveler is the one supposed to be can breath underwater right? Why Paimon too? (aside to every character we hold so that we have still chance to swim with our mains and just for better game experience that is not connected to the lore.)

  6. What if paimon is the actual traveller's 'POWER' that take shape of living thing? (maybe that's how that unknown seal traveler's power). This just head cannon without any proof or I did any research lol. Don't take it too seriously

  8. Her strings goes upward, beyond the sky itself … and she is likened to as a Balloon. Balloons have a tendency to float around and go wherever the wind takes them, that is why Balloons usually have a string, to bring them back, or to hold them in a specific place. The rainbow is an obvious statement about her connection to the elements.

    With this new information, it seems to highly suggest that Paimon comes from beyond the False Sky, from the Stars themselves. And something is ready to pull her back into the Stars whenever it feels like it is time.

    This Something might just be the Cosmic Mill of the Genshin World. A Cosmic Mill is a mythological belief that the entire universe runs on a cosmic structure, a Cosmic Mill. All sorts of phenomena that the world experiences is due to the Cosmic Mill’s absolute control.

  12. 0:13 I have theory that Genshin is alt uni One Piece bc of the Sumeru chars.
    Cyno = gear5 luffy (theyre so similar wth)
    Tighnari = usopp
    Kaveh = Sanji
    Nilou = Nami
    Faruzan = Nico Robin
    Paimon = Chopper (emergency food)
    And ofc….
    Alhaitham = zoro
    Wanderer could count as Luffy too, but he is more like a parallel.

  15. Where have we seen strings going up beyond the sky in the game?
    The crowns hanging above the artifact/weapon domain tree.
    And Paimon wears the same kind of crown. Coincidence? I think not, I always found those hanging crowns in domains suspicious.
    Paimon is connected to whichever power those are supposed to represent and that power is what also turns original resin into valuable artifacts and talent books, and powers up Traveler.

  19. To be fair the traveler could not use elemental powers before because he never touched a statue. We have no confirmation paimon is the cause because we never experienced traveler going to the statue without her,

    But in the lantern rite we experienced paimon being left behind in a room while traveler and xiao went away talking, and the traveler never lost their elemental power since the gem was still the right colour.

    So I don't know, I think paimon is more of a "spy" or emissary sent to suppress the monster who can swallow the world in one single bite you know?
