  1. I JUST WANTED TO SAY, I don’t plan to make videos like this, I will continue to play Genshin and upload positive content, but this was just too important not to make a video on it. I love this game and I’m still excited for what’s to come, but you can still love it and acknowledge its flaws. Let me know your thoughts below!

  2. Thank you for putting this out. I think more people should voice their opinions about what's going on in the Hoyo-community. I've been playing Genshin since it first came out and have loved it for the longest time, but the last year I've noticed I don't play it as often as I use to, only picking it up for the weekly collections or when new content hits. But Star Rail has had my attention from day one of its release and I haven't put it down since. I understand the disappointment that a lot of Genshin players are feeling, not just the CN players, and yeah, I was deeply wounded by the "rewards" that we're getting from Genshin's recent update compared to HSR. It just feels like HSR has so much more love for its players than Genshin does. That being said, I don't think its fair or right that people have been striking against companies that have done colabs with Genshin. I think that's taking things a step too far since they aren't fully involved with Hoyoverse at all. I just think Genshin developers should listen to their community more before people stop playing all together.

  3. I feel like if Hoyoverse doesn't do anything about this, this could potentially be the beginning of the end of Genshin Impact. I've already seen people say that they might quit by the end of the year if they keep treating us like this.

  4. Someone summed it up by saying that Genshin can afford to not care because they broke into the "normie" market during lockdowns.

Those fans just don't know any better and are happy to get whatever, not realizing how poorly they're being treated. And there's a lot of truth to it…because I'm that normie.

Genshin is my first and only game of this type and only recently did I get into the online Genshin community. If I hadn't, I wouldn't know a lot of things about this game. Including how terrible the rewards are compared to other games of this type.

I'm…disgusted with such behaviour from Hoyo. The more I learn about them and the way they run things, the more unsatisfied I am. I was going to spend money on Genshin and I'm so glad I never got to it because I would've been extremely angry if I had, knowing all that I know now.

  5. It is actually very insulting. I am only playing for only a year or so but during this time I have seen many of the feedbacks, suggestions being given in GI surevey get implemented in HSR. This just makes the survey pointless. We should get more rewards and Hoyo should actually take the suggestions seriously

  6. The Genshin and HSR different treatment isn't only about the reward. It's about how the dev team response. That one time when HSR is not even 3 months old, the dev already be updating ton of QoLs from the basic one to the most specific one, like how HSR dev team actually made a specific feature to turn off a certain light effect because a player said Seele's Ult is too bright or a feature to hide the black bar in the bottom of the screen, also other useful QoLs such as increase Trailblaze Power cap from 180 to 240, add Reserve Trailblaze Power, dialogue history (which I doubt gonna be useful in Genshin since most just skip it, but for me, a story enjoyer, it's best QoL), add chat feature, birthday reward being a stellar jade, relic auto equip, and Tears of Dream, Early Access to a character material if you haven't unlocked it, and so on.

More QoL in less than a year compared to Genshin in 3 years

  8. I just want to say…I'm not dissatisfied with the game right now, but I think it's totally valid that people are and it's great that they're making themselves heard. I like Genshin because it still has a lot of interesting stuff to explore, fun combat, interesting story, cool character builds, and so on. Even with all the extra QoL in Honkai Star Rail, Genshin still wins for me by a mile because there's just so much more interesting stuff to do and the basic gameplay is so much more satisfying. But I do hope they make some changes because it does feel like players have been neglected lately.

  9. I'm really upset with this too but PLEASE KEEP MAKING GENSHIN VIDEOS! When I have a tough day I go to bed and watch your genshin videos, they make me so happy and you are literally the best content creator I follow. I don't understand star rail since I dont have storage to get it – that said, I won't understand your videos if you change content 🙁

  10. I knew nothing about star rail. Now all I am asking for is the more resin. the 10 pulls and some true late game content. I'about to be able to full clear abyss 12-3 on 9 stars, and i feel like im done with the game already. Would be funny to get some more characters and try to do the same even with them, but for now i have to spare wishes for the good ones to get to 9 star and get that 1 extra pull per 2 week. feels so bad.

  11. This entire situation just reminded me why I stopped playing after the 1 year anniversary disaster. I only came back for fountaine and I'm once again debating whether to uninstall or not. It's disappointing honestly. This game, it's world and characters are truly loved. It is a slap in the face to be treated this way over and over again.

  12. Honestly as someone who plays both on and off…
I feel like Genshin is the game that is like "Oh you didnt grind and couldnt get that one thing from an event??? To bad now its gone and you will never get it!"
While HSR is more like "Ohhh welcome back! Heres some stuff, heres something new even you can do to level up and get stuff, here youre free gift pack! Take it slow we gotchu"
Which is kinda sad as I like both games alot..

  13. I've been playing Genshin for almost 3 years now. I got all the characters I wanted, I also pay BP and Welkin… I love this game, but I feel like this game doesn't want players to play their game. Clearing a domain takes 25 seconds – That's about 5 minutes (includig loading screen and 10 runs), also daily comission takes 6 minutes in total. Let's say I collect stuff or run here and there. 15 minutes of gameplay. Every day. There's no more viable account powering content. I'm able to max Abyss with 10 different teams. I don't want new characters anymore. I just want to farm artifacts more to have stronger characters (but of course I always get bad ones, and there's no pity system in artifact farming)…This game doesn't want me to play. 🙁

  14. As someone who plays both starrail and genshin i would say that we shouldn’t compare these two games bcoz they have very different stories and overall they are different games but the issue is that the features the genshin impact community has been pleading for, for three years, they just went ahead nd made a new game out of it like the expedition feature genshin community wanted that for two years and they got it in 4.3 like three years into the game and that’s just one of the features so it just feels like hoyo does hear the genshin community but they put those ideas in a different game which isn’t played by half of the genshin community.
