When are you playing next?
Zhongli and Venti are the only original Seven left from the Archon war which was 2600 years ago. All other gods got replaced throughout time, but other than the Sumeru god who is 300 years old, they were all there 500 years ago when Khaenri'ah got destroyed.
Edit: As a side note, Venti has been asleep for the last 500 years. So it's highly likely he went into sleep for whatever reason after Khaenri'ah was gone. And when you spoke with Venti after finishing his archon quest, he said that 500 years ago, he knew the Cryo Archon well, but not anymore.
zhongli is the only god that remain from bach then and venti maybe im not quite sure but ik xhongli was in the war

Both Venti and Zhongli are still the original Archons before the Archon war 2700 years or something. Everyone else after that are new, with the Dendro God being just 500 years young.

When playing quest I put the traveler in my party and lvl it up. Just for story immersion

Hey Abra (don't worry, no spoilers), in the valley near where you was at 36:52 there is a world mission called "The 9 pillars of peace". After you get all geoculli and give then to the statue you will get "orbs" (i dont remember the true name for it) that you can put in these pillars in this valley. As I said, I'll not spoil it for you, but pay attention for the stones signs that are there, as I'm sure that it have something to do with what the Seven had done with Kaenri'ah…
To reply you for that 500yrs . All the gods are still the same except for the Dendro archon. Meaning Venti and Zhongli might have implications in the actions.

The thing is buddy sure there are the seven archons. But Venti mention that visions are a magical foci that are favor gifted by the gods. Little do they know that anyone with a vision can ascend to godhood.
But among the seven original archons, Venti and Zhongli remains since these two are the oldest among the seven while the other archons have been replaced. The most recent one was the Dendro Archon have died during the cataclysm. So in those 500 years ago, was already replaced by someone else.

I know i am late but I wanna clarify:
Zhongli and venti were the two original archons from the seven
The pyro, cryo and electro archon are old enough to be present during the destruction of Khanri'ah
And the dendro archon is simply 500 years old and the youngest of the seven

Theres two left, Abraxos and its Venti and Zhongli. They were once the original Seven. So the other regions' gods are more or less newer.
Celestia is basically a pub where we archons used to hang out.
