Honkai: Star Rail Swarm Disaster Just Embarassed Genshin Impact

Swarm Disaster is incredible. It is some of the best Hoyoverse content ever made, and it shows how good the Honkai: Star Rail devs really are compared to the Genshin Impact team imo. Honkai keeps suprising me and reeling me back in.

  1. I think their idea for the "long term reward" for this one is the new path in the regular SU, because this is a side story update that just happens to come with a side of difficult content.

Would be great to have a weekly resetting reward, or even just weekly BP missions tied to it, but I at least wouldn't want them to add that if it came with trailblaze power cost (I know MoC has none, but I don't see them adding too many repeatable rewards without taking away from something else by limiting it with time gated resources, and this game could really use more side activities which this new mode is).

  2. Hard competitive level, where Whales compare against F2P as equals… where did I saw it??? Ow yeah, Red Lotus and Nirvana… a mutable Elysium Realm (maybe weekly) so people has to rotate chars regularly… probably soon a shop on the Swarm Disaster Universe… well well well… HI3rd mechanics improved huh?

  3. You seems notice they give us more reward , more endgame content , more battle , more enjoyment but should also notice that they give us story and lore about aeon in swarm simulator for those who like reading atuff

  4. New game mode is great but it has one flaw: it's too long and would even be better with a shorter format. Genshin had something similar but they put it as an event like once or twice and never brought it back since. This should definitely be in Genshin too.

  5. Idk about you guys, I'm f2p but I'm running on Swarm Disaster everyday even tho I have no reward left to claim. It's fun, and that's all what I need from playing a game.

Also, Genshin player should stop complaining and keep comparing to HSR. In genshin you can explore, in HSR we're restricted. In genshin you can combat running around freely, in HSR you need to wait for your turn.

HSR lack of contents for 3 months, you just log in for 10-15 minutes to do daily, spent your TP, and log out. See? We've been dying and bored for whole 3 months. While genshin player can explore everyday.

So stop comparing HSR and Genshin whenever HSR eating some good and you guys want mihoyo to apply it to Genshin.

If Genshin got all the good thing, there's no reason people to play HSR.

Mihoyo know to balance it. Just play both Genshin and HSR to get all the good thing combine. Stop complaining, geez. 😮‍💨

  6. This is what I'm saying, the team responsible for Honkai are real devs. They listen to what fans want, unlike with the Genshin team where they seem to only care on what they want to add in the game. Nobody requested for TCG but they added it anyway because they like Heartstone it seems. It's a shame, considering they are under the same company.

  7. HSR give more pulls just to maintain the players keep playing, turn based game get boring pretty quickly u know and I play both game I don't understand why so many people want to compare two game that have different playstyle

  8. I’m hoping they will implement this in Genshin. They already put some mechanics from SR to Genshin. Fingers crossed! The Swarm is so fun btw, definitely what Genshin needs
