  1. It's hard for me to imagine someone calling her overrated unless their stuck w/ weak artifacts or a weak weapon. Her skill has incredible scaling on it. If your emblemruns give you a bunch of usually bad HP rolls, you can plug them in to her set w/ some crit stats. And a R5 Warbow generally solves my ER issues.

    Even without relying on reactions, the burst is just a net positive to damage. At worst, she's a top 10-15 character. At worst.

  6. She is basically on the same level as Xingqiu.
    Remember, the top 4 stars are the first 4 stars dropped (Bennett, Xingqiu, Xiangling) were way to buffed.
    Now HoYoverse builds half ass characters that are so underwhelming, until C6.
    Yelan is a 2nd Xingqiu, how broken is that to have two of them (power wise that is)
    I skipped her but she definitely grew on me more and more I see how she works and best way to build.
    But let's be honest, you don't need all this "power" when the hardest content is Abyss.
    And even then, if you're doing 36 star, then it doesn't matter who you pull going forward.

  8. I'm going for c2 and her weapon this time around since I already use her as a DPS. I love her at c1 and for most overworld stuff just kill everything with sac bow using her skill 3 times in a row. I switched to f2p but she will probably be my only c6 eventually being it's one of, if not the best game

  10. If there is one thing i learned from progression in genshin it's to plan it out if you are a f2p/low spender. Yelan's Raiden's Nahida's all these characters fit nicely into a majority of team comps in their own unique ways.. every character is different but also come characters are just superior meta Raiden being a universal battery, Nahida an off-field dendro amplifier/applier and Yelan not holding anything back she can stand her own as both an off-field hydro applier, main DPS, NA amplifier.. you name it really.. yeah maybe her burst is costly but if you aren't stacking ER in most if not ALL of your team comps then you will likely have a hefty downtime after all your skills are exhausted. love this video it's great advice Yelan earned her top spot.

  11. she is overrated but not too much, i can see why she is usefull, sadly she had to have the waifu bait design and lore so she is an easy skip, i will wait until fontaine to complete my monohydro team cus i only have ayato and childe for that, however if i ever get elegy i might consider her just for diluc but i doubt it cus mona exists and my c6 kaeya does way more dmg than xinqiu since he isnt tied to an er weapon so yelan is still a skip even for subdps

  12. I'm struggling to think up any reason how she's overrated. Must pull? No 5-star is a must pull; the National Team is a testament to that. F2P friendly? Hells yeah. People farm Emblem Domain a crap ton nowadays anyway; who takes your "trash" HP% artifacts? Yelan. Who takes your trash 3-star bows and still does huge damage? That's right, Yelan. Who has the fastest traversal speed of all the characters? You guessed it, Yelan. Who has THE BIGGEST TEDDIES IN ALL OF TEYVAT!?!? Well that's Shenhe, but Yelan's a close second.

  13. Whenever someone asks me this question I just simply tell them if she is overrated so is raiden cause she is basically a better raiden. Na,e 1 thing that raiden can do that yelan can’t (not electro application). And yelan can do all that off field.Damage with the burst,big damage with the e,Er with a favonious bow,damage boost on top of that and she’s hydroo

  14. If Yelan was not a chick dancing around, with the massive ER issues at c0, ya'll would scream that she's mid, period. To get her burst up one has to sacrifice HP to ER in her build, then add another teammate with a fav weapon AND needs a hydro battery. If that's a "perfectly functioning" unit at c0 i am the Emperor of the universe. From c1 up she becomes viable, at c0 is way overrated.

  18. I accidentally pulled her under 20 pity. It wasn’t until after her banner ended that I learned how busted she really was. I practically never into the abyss without her. If I had known she was this good I would’ve gotten her to c2 on her first banner.

  19. 1. She applying lot of hydro.
    2. She can use favonius bow every player have.
    3. She deal good damage off-field.
    4. She very useful in travels because E don't consume stamina.
    5. She have long legs and big boobs)

  22. The beauty about Yelan is that she isn't restricted to any 1 or few teams, she can go in any teams before and after dendro and will mostly likely be as good if not better than it's counterpart even at c0.

    A lot of players play her as a solo hydro in teams, but I would say her best is paired with Xingqui. Yelan like any other character in Genshin isn't a must pull, but she is the type of character that if you get her will improve your overall enjoyment, and flexibility of playing the game.

    Sure Yelan is a support, and needs over 180%er+ to be reliable, well that's what they say I have mines at 127%er 🤣🤣 and I haven't felt the need for more. However, Yelan at c0 can be a very good DPS increase or even more to the fact a capable quick swap DPS as I did in the abyss with this team https://youtu.be/9tycT-CtEvI

    This is personal opinion, the best way to experience Genshin impact is to not limit the way you play a character or the game itself by recommend Meta, instead get in the game and experiment, come up with your own teams, ideas, and create your own experiences, that for me is where Genshin shines.

  29. Take my advice, get her!!……..she's not complicated,fits into literally almost every team, provides a huge buff to damage passively,and most importantly she's FUN TO PLAY! and does a lot of damage as well.

  30. seems like the majority of the comment section doesnt know why shes currently the most overrated unit in the game.

    -A sidegrade to xq in all of hyperbloom teams, and doesnt generate as much as seeds as xq on most of them, especially at hyperfridge teams.
    -A very noticable decrease in seeds generation in burgeon teams.
    -Cant be a solo hydro in hyperburgeon teams.
    -A side grade to xq on almost all of tazer variations.
    -A sidegrade to xq in rational team.
    -A downgrade to xq in national team.
    -Cant be a solo hydro in hutao teams.
    -Totally useless in freeze teams.
    -A sidegrade to xq in salad teams.
    -Unecessary unit in bloom teams.
    -Only better than xq in yoimiya teams.

    as you can see all of these are xq comparison because the majority of her value heavily depends on wheter you already have a second hydro in your account other than xq. if you do then shes not overrated, her value is just as high as the community thinks of her, but if you dont have a second hydro yet, her value is mostly A tier.
