  1. you can drop your world level by 1 level and they do give new mats everytime u finish the characters free trial during their banner so it may not be so bad to just quickly play the game and do the quests like they probably intended for us to

  2. I think your mistaken. If you remember you need to get to AR 40 to use boss mats for talents. By that time you should be able to be at inazuma. Genshin IS NOOB FRIENDLY

  3. Unpopular opinion: a game with a main story, especially when cured in the details, is meant to be played and not skipped.
So what Mihoyo is trying to say is: don't rush it, take it slow and if you're a casual who wants to roam in the map doing nothing go somewhere else, the game is not for you. Also, the fact that "you can't farm boss materials" is not a big deal since you actually need ar 30/35 to get above talent 6, if i do remember correctly. So doing the story is mandatory in order to level up the characters because there's the AR cap

  4. I tried playing on the NA server on my account during the Raiden Shogun banner, did the archon quest here and there, did some pulls on the Raiden banner and got her and Sara. I was pretty hyped but then realized I was still just in Mondstadt. Now Raiden is stuck at level 40 for now. Guess I'll just get Ganyu so I can breeze through the whole world exploration and all the other side quests. But yeah, for new players it will be a grind to get the required materials if they ever get the new characters. Also, many of the events are story or region locked, so some new players won't get access to do these events too.

  5. Having a merchant that moves with you to new regions the more you progress could be a great idea. He would swap your current regions mats for desired ones for a stock (enough to get around 1-2 characters to level 80 maybe?). I think punishing players for not being in a specific region in a specific time is not a great gamedesign. Players will rush to access to that region in a game where rushing is literally punished by game devs.(non existant end game). And I think this is not just a problem for newer players, when shenhe, raiden and sara cameout I had to rush through world quests to get those mats.

  6. I don't see any problem on this tbh. Character level is also locked with AR and we're given ascension materials to level up characters to lv40 on character trial demo.

  7. yea I agree it's kinda tricky. I hope the future regions are not locked behind quests and players can atleast gather mats like flowers and etc for ascension or maybe even find worl bosses. But lvling up talents to higher lvls will be tricky since most weekly bosses r locked behind archon/story quests

  8. Same here, I've been confused about their plans for long time now. I thought that they will add new abyss floors, raids or something else for veterans, but instead they just decided to put bosses on 12th floor of the abyss and give them dumb high hp. And they are not doing anything for beginers either well I guess they are kinda trying to solve the beginner issue by giving lvling mats for completing character trial, and giving us fast reruns (this way new players can pull for mondstad and Liue characters 5*), but those solutions are not good enough. Btw to add to this video raising characters is not the only issue, sometimes beginners cannot even participate in the events because they are locked behind AR or story quests like WTH what is going on mihoyo what is the plan?_?

  9. They also need to remove the resin system because you can't farm for 3 or 4 or more characters and that's the whole thing you need a team build up and you can't decide on what to do with 160 resin like should i farm a boss or artifacts or mora or Exp books and there is an easy fix they can do something like you can fight this boss 3 Times a day for every boss without resin and you can do this domain 4 times a day that would really make the game more enjoyable and also make the players playing for more than 30 minutes

  10. Not being able to upgrade the newer characters until you reach a certain point in the game could be seen a part of the progress in the game, I dont think this is such a huge issue. It is more a problem of the mind set of some new players. you shouldnt expect to get into a new game and be able to get the newest and best units right at the start.
I think new player expirence is great because they actually have meaningful content to play unlike us veterans.

  11. I think mihoyo will lower the AR requirement for the archon quests, like they already started doing. The requirement for unlocking Chapter I Act III used to be AR 35, now they dropped it to AR 28. I think they will continue doing this as they release more content.

  12. Just give the boss domain, any boss, the player pick which boss, and give the limit once per day, solved. It is a meh for Veteran Player and really helpful for new player. I mean new player doesnt even have enough book and mora, so once per day is okaysh….

  13. man i've been playing this game for too long, i was thinking "oh they could just join a friend/a random's world who already got it unlocked and farm it there" then i remembered that you cant join someone if their world level is higher.

  14. Well if your willing to spend your time like maybe 1-3 hours a day, u cant get to inazuma in about a week or less
A Month that's not even true, I've personally played 8 hours a day and hit inazuma in 3 days, Also genshin gives out the first set of ascension materials for new characters that's released on trial, so its more than enough for new players to level her up to a playable state. Your reason for this video is because of your laziness to even play the game

  15. You know, they can just do the same thing as with weekly boss mats. So they will just extend the convert system. There would be some easy farmable convert mat like dust of azoth or dream solvent but more accessible (maybe as an open world material or somewhere in the shop for Mora who knows). So the casuals can build their favourute unit. The talent issue is also here but that's not that big of a deal. You can defeat Childe so easily and get to inazuma just with level 1 talents, but with more regions that's also going to be an issue.

  16. I got a Sayu in a reroll account I made recently. I can't even ascend her to 20/40. I would love to use a healer who is not a pain to use against cryo enemies and does lot of damage but oh well

  17. Even if you wanna cheat your way to inazuma, you can't because raiden's storm will physically stop you (maybe unless you use glitches and bugs) but have fun grinding new travelers 😂😂😂😂😂

  19. New Players arent supposed to throw themself directly into the Event Gacha the moment you unlock it, as long you havent played the story. Its just a cheap but efficient way of forcing people to POSTPONE their wishes for as long as it takes the new player to get the story done so far, that you can get also the materials for the latest event characters.
Players can travel already freely all over Mondstadt n Liyue, so this issue exist basically only with Inazuma Characters. MHY doesnt care at all to design the game with Fun being the top priority aspect, they design this game with making money their top priority.
Thats why the game is full of such bullshittery like way too slow charging Resin, that limits what you can do, tons of garbage RNG in Artefacts, while its at the same time the stuff that makes your characters the most powerful, together with talents as huge currency/resin sink. Every aspect in this whole game is designed after Money first, fun eventually later principal and you feel this really first from AR30 onwards on the most.
AR1 to 29 is just the orientation phase with focus on story where the player mainly is supposed to play first the story n unlock the regions n dont waste ANY thoughts of farming n grinding any crap or spending money on Gacha!! And if you happen to get Inazuma Characters before getting to the region, because whyever you wasted your ressources on an aspect you arent ready fo, then ignore these characters, focus first an leveling the stuff you have access to in Mondstadt n Liyue… you unlocked for example Sayu or Thoma WONT RUN AWAY. You dont need them immediately, only because you unlocked them from Banners
You can play the game easily to the point where Inazuma becomes accessible with the Starter Characters and what you can get over time free like Xiangling, Barbara, basically Noelle.
MHY wants basically new players to spend their gems first when you are also ready for them in the story, in order so that players feel beeing pressured to rush thingd, or spent money in ordef to miss not the character n having to wait on the rerun.
MHY always tries to play out this psychological predatory aspect to make money from people which fear to lose something they want, if they dont buy it now before the banner is over, thats how Gacha works. Even if you cant get the materials directly. MHY doesnt care, all they care for is your money n never anything else.

  20. I made a rerun acct just for fun back when Raiden came out. Nearly every single event was blocked off from me either due to AR or because I needed to be in Inazuma and I wanted to take my time and enjoy the game (something I advise all new players to do). Also, new Inazuma characters need mats from Inazuma. I don't think this is a friendly thing to do to new players. You shouldn't feel like you need to rush the game into Inazum. Can it be done quickly? Sure. But one reason why people like the game is the slow opening of this vast world. You miss out on a lot of that if you zip through everything.

  21. Liyue Harbor. It is literally one of the biggest shopping districts across whole Teyvat due to the easy shipping. The mats should be purchable either by exhancing for other boss mats, specialties, or massive amount of mora – maybe even directly with resin.

  22. And they also get events locked :u
Some of the ppl I subscribed suddenly started playing genshin and they ran into this problem. Tbh they don't need upgrade pass 6 talents but it does help clearing mobs faster. It's the world boss mats they need. But still long time to get to inazuma

  23. Unless they make a particular NPC in that can summon Domain, AND allow to fight enemies or Bosses from Inazuma for everyone to grind. Otherwise Newby are pretty screw.

They gonna make one of those limited time only event, that can easy to access (i.e monstad). So everyone can grind those materials.

  24. For my idea I came up with. With the mats that are needed for the characters that are like far beyond what the new players can get, I can imagine like a traveling sales man who will give you mats that are needed to level up the current limited banner characters. With it giving a discount for the new players that have yet to unlock the region. Once you purchase the materials needed to level up the character, an easy to unlock secret quest will show up that will be involved as to where there will be a domain to farm boss mats for the current limited banner character. You'd only see this sales man in mondstat and need AR level 15. The products become cheaper the lower AR you are, it only becomes more expensive the higher world level u are by every 2 levels.

  25. Never thought about this til now, but the boss drops are blatant spoilers to new players since the bosses are named in either the material's name or the description of it. Might be disappointing to finish the Mondstadt story then think La Signora would have more of a presence only to figure out you're going to beat her eventually. Same with Childe, you see that you need his enhancement material too soon and then you're instantly suspicious of him when you first see him.

  26. I think in future they will add an exchange mechanic for material like those in weekly boss, for example you want rifthound claw, you can exchange slime or ruin guard core for maybe 5 slime for 1 rifthound claw because slime are easier to fight and farm, same as all kinds of flower, shell, bug, etc

  27. as someone who played on an account that was low ar and got itto, it’s honestly not tooooo bad. Until ~ar 30-ar35 you honestly curb stomp through most of the game with just that level 40 itto. you can always reduce your world level if it’s too hard. inazuma unlocks at ar 30 at which point u will need to just grind the story up til escape ritou island.

Honestly though, it’s not even that bad since doing archon quest is a super efficient since u get primos, resources (mora/exp8), and ar exp. You can pretty much grind ar 25-ar 33 with just archon quests. Add in a couple other stuff and u can speed run ar 35 or even ar 40 if you want.

Which brings me to the last point, the la signora weekly boss mats arent relevant til ar 40+. that’s cause no weekly bosses drop the talent mats until ar 40+. Considering you unlock inazuma at ar 30, it’s not unrealistic to unlock signora by then.

I think the main issue is the fact that for new players, it might be a bit daunting that theyre forced to grind story after story if they wanna upgrade their characters. But if you know what to do, it’s not too bad.
