  1. The thing with Genshin is, target audience is the Working Class which have limited time in a day.

For Content Creators, they will be burned out if they rushed but it still have content from time to time when they reach latest story and they can play other games while waiting.

  2. And now imagine a game like genshin where you could actually get those characters and weapons and use them, without spending over a thousand dollars a month.

What a good game that would be.

  3. Genshin has the better lore and story but tower of fantasy has the better combat, so if you had a game that combined em both it'd be unstoppable lol

Also he's kind of right on the whole girls playing Genshin idea because on my friends list it's mostly the women I see playing Genshin

  4. I like how people still question how Genshin is so big, literally the first game to successfully do mobile game rpg AND open world exploration akin to a main console game(not faux open world or mmo exploration), its from devs who already made a HUGE game in the mobile market and learned to apply it to PC, its a gacha game, the story is a low bar entry but wide expansive universe, and character designs. The character designs are unique and not as overtly horny as other gacha games(obviously to the Chinese market). The designs don't really have much aspects that are off putting for a general audience but have a lot that can be appreciated by everyone, whether its outfits, face, personality or gameplay. Its just way more appealing to the female audience as well in Asia, that also like to cosplay, some of which look for a good game to keep up their cosplay business(nothing wrong with that btw)

  5. For those who think that mihoyo's stealing from elden ring

You haven't seen imaginary tree from Honkai. They look VERY similar, but here's a catch

Imaginary tree in Honkai was before elden ring

  6. About the big cool trees being ripped off from elden ring. Did everyone forget sylvanas burned down a cool big tree not too long ago? And I've seen big cool trees in other games movies before elden ring as well.

  7. Would love to see asmon pick up genshin. It's not like he's tied down to genshin on his channel so he can easily fill the dead spaces of content with other stuff and just do genshin when new patches come out. Kinda looks like he's testing the waters to open his channel up to other demographics

  8. I really love the amount of lore the game has to offer. It has tons of books like Skyrim and even the character profiles give a lot of info. I avoided the game for the longest time because I just thought it would be an empty free to play game that just let you toy around with some characters. But it's a complete game and the stories have really surprised me, there's lots of really memorable quests, some tragic and dark that really attach you to the characters. I did play Breath of the Wild and can definitely say Genshin is it's own game. Even though the art style may be inspired by BOTW, Genshin stands on its own when it comes to story, gameplay, and music. One thing I do love about Genshin over BOTW is that in BOTW it came to a point where you realized that the most "exciting" thing you could find while exploring was one of those poop shaped korok seeds (which become useless at a point) or a weapon which you won't get too attached to because it'll break. In Genshin exploration feels very rewarding because of the variety of things you can find and use to permanently buff your characters and weapons. I hope some day you do try out Genshin, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised ❤️

  9. Yeah but the people in the game are ordinary people which is why they have no pity and only a 1.2354×10^-69 chance of actually pulling a 5 star .. which is why nobody ever succeeded in resurrecting Morax etc.

  10. You are not gonna regret playing the game, Asmon. I know you have control over spending. Genshin is gonna surprise you. Also Genshin turned to most expensive game ever developed.

  11. well. i didnt expect to see this on my feed!
edit bc this was my first time watchinv the trailer for new stuff too
im not particularly excited by any means, i dont like the new characters but the nee environment seems lovely. theres a lot they didnt show, so im confused on why on that, but the gameplay showed after for the new events makes things look… pretty lame.

  12. The main reason I play is the active update and how it promotes several traditions, music from countries where most people specially in wester don’t listen to like ever, the characters also represent traditions of different regions, the game has a very high investment in it (new reports telling heights 500M usd), people sometimes go calling out the devs but these are the same devs with project flamecion (look it up, theyre promoting education in remote areas in china from the money they earn)

  13. I’m so torn with this trailer. The game looks beautiful and I’m sure the story will be interesting. But this English voice acting talking about the plot is sucking the life out of me, no cap.

  14. The visuals in the game are good and will look solid while exploring. The 4-5 cutscenes per REGION look great. But any other animation? Robotic af and reuses character idol animations or extremely, and noticeably, generic poses. Combat is clean, but it doesn't challenge after a while.

  15. What happened if some famous ppl mentioned GI in their channel at the first time : A tons of Stupid Ppl which hate Genshin attack the positive comment out of nowhere🤣

  16. If he plays genshin he needs to bring on tectone and let him vent about the game. Genshin is more polished than Tower of Fantasy however Tower of fantasy has more late game features (infinite tower climb and PvP)

  17. I suspect he's gonna have a more frustrating time playing Genshin Impact because the early gameplay experience can be sweetened or soured by the draw of characters gotten from the wishes.

For a very long time my only anemo character was the traveler and it was mighty annoying to keep teleporting to statues to switch between geo and anemo just to work on puzzles.

  18. So true, Genshin is so far the most successful gacha game in the world. And it's deserving of its success coz of the interesting lore, good combat system and endearing characters. 👍

  19. tbh genshins audience has some old weird dudes but a lot of its audience has become the girls and the gays haha, me included. I think it just speaks to us because of the aesthetic
