I was crying so hard through the whole quest. I feel so bad for scaramouche, he was terrified of losing the gnosis because being a vessel for it was the thing he was created to do. He was finally fulfilling his purpose and it got ripped away almost immediately.
I wanted too see more of Collei in this archon quest and not Dunyasomething… Seriously, who cared about her? I think Hoyoverse should've let her stay dead. I know that would have been sad but c'mon, they killed Teppei so why not her

This AQ finale and Ei's Story Quest are beyond any other quests in the game. Mind-blowing, I was left speechless when finished both of them
This fight where Nahida/Buer seeks out help from the people of sumeru to help the traveler is reminiscent of when you were fighting Ei/Baal and all the Visions, the desires of those slain arose to give the traveler power to stop the decree.
Did he literally said "Mortal" to us? He doesnt know who we are?

The last cutscene with Rukkhadevata and her erasure from the Aranara's memories, etc made me cry and I can't even explain why. Sumeru's archon quest so far is the most beautiful for me. 🥺🥺

yeah ei literally didnt put gnosis on him because she loved him and dont want him to be just of a tool but then hated his mother, also hit another fatui just to see human react in fear and hated by other fatui as well, then almost kill traveler twice and got saved by mona and yae, i would say he deserve it, no gnosis for bad boy
The English version of "anything but the gnosis" chocked me, the amount of feelings it's just.. this quest is just perfect
Sumeru quest (archon quest, aranara , al ahmar & etc) ngl they literally give me teary eye no matter happy/sad the ending. Its too beautiful 🥺
the nilou dance scene gave me goosebumps

Scaramouche is a terrible person, and after all the things he's done, he totally doesn't deserve a heart, but still… watching him so desperate to keep his gnosis, knowing his backstory, knowing you are taking his EVERYTHING away from him, that you're LITERALLY taking everything he cares about… it made me cry. The way they did this cutscene was simply a masterpiece. They could have just shown Nahida taking the Gnosis and Scaramouche just saying "Nooo!" as it's taken from him, and the scene wouldn't just have much impact. But they made Scaramouche react so WELL, acknowledging that he is terrible but still a PERSON, it shows you how devastated he is and how significant this action is to him. I was crying and even trembling a little bit and the stunning execution of this. I think this is the most powerful cutscene in the game yet, it makes me feel such complicated but POWERFUL emotions which is nothing short of an amazing feat in art. Knowing that he's not a good person, totally deserves it, and it's something you need to do for the needs of the many, but also knowing how tragic what you're doing is is just heartbreaking. And the way they made his reaction was just amazing. There are many scenes in Genshin that have made me cry before(I mean the cutscene right after that had me balling), but I think out of all of them this one is the strongest. I hope they make a cutscene even better than this one and that will be my new favorite, but this one is REALLY hard to beat, I just love it

The archon quest was amazing until the Greater Lord being erased part. The story feels pointless now since apparently everything is fake, the people are fake, the atmosphere itself is fake, and characters will just cease to exist now. Not to mention the whole point of the questline, saving Nahida, is a wash because now SHE'S doomed to be erased due to learning forbidden knowledge. Feels like a big "F u" from the devs.

This was beautiful, I haven't done the actual quest yet bc I have a lot of unfinished quests to still do before Nahida's, but here are my thoughts from the videos I've watched. Not only is Nahida the only current archon to actually give us proper information about our sibling, but the way Nahida actually cares abt her people, and is actually present for her people, ik the other archons ig care abt their people too but in Nahida and Rukkhadevata, it is more evident in how much they love them. The story with Scaramouchie too, it's all so well done, I hope the next region and archon will be as good as this, and that we'll continue to receive actual info abt the world of Teyvat, and the story of the siblings, or should I say "siblings" considering the info Nahida gave us

The thing that makes this the best Archon quest is that all the characters toke a huge part in helping us and nahida and when I say everyone I MEAN everyone

I think sumeru was my favorite archon quest to be honest
