Ayato
Kokomi's Skill does 2 things that help a lot: Heal and Apply AOE Hydro, being the driver for so many teams. And if we add Tenacity to the mix…
yeah kazuha nahida and raiden are just obvious picks
Scaramouche skill..
a c t u a l l y e l e v a t e s h i m
Raiden (E), Kokomi (heal), Yelan (distance, speed, dmg)
the fact you have itto in top 10 and not HUTAO!!!! F tierlist all they both do is damage and hu tao's does like 7 times his
My list would be:
1.nahida (SSS reaction+dmg+short cd)
2.raiden (S reaction+party buff+infinite uptime)
3.kazuha (SSS cc+S dmg buff+short cd)
4.zhongli (SSS shield+Sdmg buff+infinite uptime)
5.kokomi (S reaction+heal+dmg)
6.itto (SSS dmg)
7.hutao (SSS dmg if using reaction)
8.xingqiu (S dmg+dmg reduction)
9.oz (S reaction+dmg)
10.wanderer (rS dmg with caveat)
i would never put albedo, his skill nowadays can get removed easily by so many bosses, no reaction bonus, it might even ruin your reactions
shenhe is just as restrictive as nilou, only work with single element
beidou burst is more important than her skill, and its just single hit shield with dmg, pretty hard to use casually
other than that im agree with those units and pretty much just swap the rank
Guoba
Best ability: ELEVATOR!!!!!
-it makes u feel high and mighty.
Let's see, my top 10 elemental skills in no particular order (except Nahida which is 1st) :
1. Nahida, nuff said. In addition, she can harvest plants from afar and reads people's mind.
2. Xingqiu, you seems to underestimate this guy's skill. It actually has higher modifier damage than Itto's, and can even further boost by 50% at C4 (Itto still does more damage because of his burst). If that is not enough, his skill is increase your interruption resistance AND on top of that also has significant damage reduction. Since you only put him as "honorable mention" when it actually can be on the top 3, then there is something wrong with you. :p
3. Nilou, her Bountiful Cores is just very satisfying to watch, also her dance animation looks very beautiful.
4. Kuki Shinobu, 1.5s electro application (loses to 0.9s of Raiden E) which is great for Hyperbloom, but also heals.
5. Kokomi, AoE hydro application and heals every 2s, which is great to enable a lot of team variations.
6. Gorou/Shenhe, just need their E to increases damage for your teammates.
7. Fischl, high energy gain, high single-target damage, even more damage with elemental reactions.
8. Kazuha, nuff said.
9. Raiden, more Burst damage not only for herself but also her teammates.
10. Zhongli, best shield in the entire game.
Honorable mentions : Yelan and Sayu for exploration.
1. Raiden – hyperbloom relies on her only as E-bot. 100% uptime, long duration, fast proc, free cast. Means you can funnel all stats into EM for massive damage, literally nothing else matters.
2. Kuki – same as Raiden for hyperbloom. Trades duration and proc speed for healing utility.
3. Nahida – 100% uptime, long duration, easy AOE, 1.5U elemental application. Perfect for any dendro teams, especially hyperbloom (notice the pattern???).
My favorite is actually Electro Traveler.. especially in coop, I can throw it and it create amulet and my teammate can pick that up for extra energy.. yes its not that much strong of a skill.. but it makes me feel helping other..
And elemental skill that give me comfort is of course Nahida, Zhongli, Venti, and Raiden Shogun.
You forgot yae miko c6 lol you said them at their optimal constellation 😅 and yae is a fucking monster at c6
almost agree to your list but id replace Beidou to Kokomi and rank down Raiden.
You should have shown the skill while talking. I don’t know some of the skill and I’m lazy to open another video to check them.
I always use Barbara (cuz C6), Xiao (Cuz C6 and elemental skill does 40k dmg times 3), Chongyun (for the Cryo element on Xiao) and Zhongli (for shield and his 30k dmg on elemental burst (cuz I'm unlucky with artifacts and can't build him right)
it's true Nahida's skill is nice but I like it more against bosses than mobs when they come in waves. Having to mark everyone isn't hard, just… kinda annoying to me. So wouldn't put it on top. Just personal preference.
I guess I would put Kazuha at the very top because I'm just so addicted to using that skill. It does so much. Second would be… Kokomi. I just think it's a very useful ability and it allows me lots of fun and flexibility with my teams, I just really love it. I guess Nahida would be three and Raiden four. For number five, I actually love Layla's skill. It offers protection and will give me cryo application as well as energy just for having fun rotating my other elemental skills. But her being recent also influences this, because Xingqiu's is who I'd pick otherwise but… listen, he's been back flipping since first patch. I like him but I'm tired of playing him everywhere.
Other characters' skills I like a lot: Fischl's for sure and one punch Heizou
This list makes no sense, it does not have any set criteria and that's why it is all over the place. How is a gimmick like flying (Wanderer elemental skill) better than a skill that has multiple uses (Xingqiu, who gives interruption resistance / Kokomi who gives heals and great hydro application and Tenacity buff)? How is Raiden so high just because she can trigger hyperblooms when Kuki can do the same thing a little slower but she also heals? How is Fischl ranked so high because of Oz when most of her utility is because of her A4 passive, not her skill?
If there is a criteria of making the game easy to play, then Zhongli would be number 1 and Kazuha number 2.
🖤
Ushi takes the cake, for me. Among the decoys that some characters can deploy to taunt the enemies, Ushi is just more fun. 😀
Tartaglia, transforms a bow user into a meele! It’s was revolutionary when it came out abd hes still thr only one with a meele range transformation.
In my opinion Child should be some where 5-6 cuz his play-style came from his elemental skill.
Gouba mad
I feel like for hyperbloom teams specifically, Kuki's skill is even better than Raidens, since it heals the active character and procs hyperblooms really well, and most Hyperbloom teams are not burst reliant anyway (at least in my experience). Also for overworld, Sayu's skill is #1 for me with Wanderer a very close #2 (amazing together btw). It can be clunky at times but you get the hang of it after a while and can use it to great effect. Honestly putting Oz at #4 almost feels like underselling. Now with aggravate it's quite possibly the most broken elemental skill in the game, maybe just after Nahida.
Writes off Nilou as being too restrictive (fair), but then immediately names Shenhe's E as one of the best in the game?? What? 🤔🤔
Mine would be Nahida, Zhongli, and Kazuha just going off of how much I rely on each of those unit's elemental skills lol.
Yelan is so strong stylish and great for overworld
As far as practical utility goes, my top 3 would have been Kokomi, Kazuha, Nahida in that order.
Still Worth pull zhongli coz I don't have it for my yoimiya?
This was a nice idea for a video, it’s kinda hard to understand the parameters to rank the skills tho, are we going for utility, interactivity, transformative capabilities…? Going only for my personal tastes here’s my top 5 (in no particular order):
5 – Yelan – super fun skill, go invisible and run around with a thread
4 – Beidou – best skill in the game that requires actual skill, shame the AI is kinda wonky because this is dark souls level of fun.
3 – Nahida – Click click! let’s take a picture! So overpowered and so good. Especially when I can’t reach those damn flowers on the mountain slopes.
2 – Keqing – I think the lightning stiletto is actually very overlooked, both for combat and exploration. I’m a big fan of Keqing and I think there’s actually a lot of skill involved in playing her right. It’s a fun and very versatile ability
1 – Kazuha – Kazuha skill is godly, especially if you learn how to double swirl properly, but after you use TF Kazuha it changes completely. It’s genuinely the most spammable skill in teyvat and I love it. There’s a lot of nuances to the skill too, like how holding and tapping it gives you different elemental gaige levels, and how plunging attack damage influences the second part of it, how many enemies are you facing, how many elements are you swirling… so much fun! Probably my favorite skill in the game from my favorite character.
Overall I do agree with your opinion. Raiden skill is awesome too, and I too believe zhongli is now seen as an average unit when just the -30% to all resistances should be enough to put his pillar on a pedestal, especially for anemo and geo dps who often struggle to find a way to lower that value.
