  1. The video is kinda outdated in some parts
Especially with "useless boys" shown there now being most used characters, and there being 3 nations already, not two
These are little details, i mean, but there's a lot of inaccuracy, sometimes for the sake of jokes, sometimes for other reasons…

  2. 18:53 yea bro, for someone who's not spend hours a day for a game its indeed a good thing. I spend 1 hour a day (30min morning 30min night) for genshin and i barely following the pace of the update.

  3. No, being forced to wait in real time for a game to allow the player to continue playing is awful. It's like a AAA mobile game. The devs could have spent time designing the world and game to make you want to go off course to explore, rather than arbitrarily add a forceful mechanic to stop you dead in your tracks and have to wait before the devs allow you to continue again.

  4. It's funny how I'm about to watch a video of someone who might play Genshin Impact watching a video about someone ADDICTED to playing Genshin Impact and immediately got a Genshin Impact ads just before the video started.

It has come to a full circle, my dude.

  5. Honestly this video is very tongue and cheek, but does hit some good points, though is a bit dated since it was released prior to the 2.0 update which opened up the third nation, Inazuma, and the stuff from the current version of the game in 2.4.

  6. People don't argue so much about the age of consent as they do about the characters' ages. Which is absurd, since (1) they're fictional characters, and (B) the societal standards are different in Teyvat, clearly, as a child is a full-out knight (mostly due to her sheer destructive capability), while a hypercapable teen maid is not a knight. Twitter especially likes to argue, especially when they don't have a leg to stand on. For example about the whole slavery thing with the Lawrence Clan, and how it relates to Eula (she wants to end anything to do with her clan's tyrannical past, but Twitter has refused to read far enough to recognize this).

  7. Noelle was less relevant than Zhongli, until Mihoyo introduced Corrosion (an effect some enemy attacks have that ignore shields and DEF and do True Damage, sometimes to your entire party). Yes, they changed the meta to make Healers (and not so much Tanks) and Healer-Tanks more relevant.

Although Noelle has rarely left my party. She and Bennett keep them all alive when they should've died like 4 times.

  8. In a way I pity Max0r, since there're radishes you can pick up around Springvale. But he did walk into Liyue, so bonus.

I hope he eventually reviews Honkai Impact 3rd .

  9. for me, the resin requirement is a bit too high, and the RNG is a bit too bad.
with 160 resin a day (it restored to full after 21 hours), but that's only enough to fight 4 bosses or 8 dungeon/domain run. would prefer it if they only require like 10 or 15 resins. Could finish it all in an hour anyway.

  10. The bit about "avoiding the fandom" is a bit complicated.

The facts and tendencies are legit, but the narrative built around them is pretty twisted:
The fandom is volatile, even by internet standards, which makes them easy prey for all sorts of bait.
Influencers are even worse, since many of them are spineless crowd-pleasers or sensasionalists that enable the above instead of helping filter it out.
However, the ultimate obstacle is that MiHoYo is a chinese company so there's not much they can do to help since they have their own BS to deal with back home. Radio silence is an everyday affair for us…

People on the outside look at part of the picture and see what they want to see.

  11. Just putting this out there, but you should totally react to a video called "Pelinal (Animated Opera)".

It's an Elder Scrolls related thing and it honestly deserves way more attention.

Edit: Just checked and it is at 1.7 million views which is significantly higher than when I first saw it so I suppose it got the attention I wanted it to get lol.

  12. Ppl in the West always see this game is P2W because of the GACHA when a Youtuber name "Mtashed" just beat the whole game without spending a single cent. Well the game is not hard if you grind to a certain point but the game is longterm not like most game in the West is create a series and create more part about that series. If you thing Gacha is P2W in Genshin it's because you haven't see the worst of the Gacha games.

  13. The bad reviews of genshin mostly come from the games anniversary usually when a gacha game has an anniversary the devs are pretty generous with rewarding the community, genshins anniversary rewards were almost non existent so the community review bombed it into the ground at its lowest it was at a 1/10 rating, the genshin community is extremely toxic though in fact it's by far the worst community I've ever seen
