Me: I'm a grown adult, I can do this, I can do this.
Eula during the Bartender Event: *No matter how hard I try, everyone seems to hate me, tell me, how did you make everyone like you? How can I become like you?

  5. 5:29 Actually, there's a real reason for this. Venti was the only one who "abandoned" his people early so the people of Mondstat are the only ones prepared to figure shit out on their own whenever anything big happens. All the other nations have had their Archons figure out any important problem for centuries so they physically don't have the infrastructure to deal with it when the Archons don't or can't.

So it's not like "nothing happens to Mondstat," it's just the people there are paying more attention because they know they're the ones who have to deal with the problem. They nip the problems in the bud before they get big eg. terrorist Collei lasted at max a week, and Dvalin was more annoyance than problem because they were able to quickly get a mitigation plan in place. It's also why they've been the most wary of letting the Fatui in whereas the other nations have let them integrate into their societies with varying degrees of oversight.

Whereas all the other nations wait for their respective Archon to deal with any of the big shit before acting for themselves. When the Archon doesn't/can't deal with the problems shit hits the fan REAL fast and the entire country gets effected. In Liyue, Rex Lapis was the one who set all the rules and dealt with any major catastrophe for thousands of years; so when it was clear he was dead there was a sudden panic and rush to get structure in place to deal with his absence. In Inazuma, Raiden was the one attacking her own people after centuries of her being their primary defense so of course the only autonomous arm there was able to maintain any semblance of resistance. In Sumeru, yes the people were imprisoning their god but to specifically harness the knowledge she had. So without ever having the wisdom to know how to use it and only borrowing knowledge from Archon (never learning anything for themselves) they had no real means learning which made corruption incredibly easy (after all if the book you read as law is full of lies, and you don't have a means of discovering truth, how could you ever reasonably know you're being lied to). And I suspect Fontaine may actually be quite similar to Sumeru in that regard from the breadcrumbs Hoyo's put out so far, as it reeks of a corrupt state.

  6. 1:49 if you think the consecrated beasts are a bennet nerf… idk if it would even do any good to express how wrong you are because you clearly don't have a brain to pretend anything has ever nerfed bennet.
