  1. Hey, Metatron, any idea of were can I find information about late XVII century eastern european armors?
I'm working on a fan concept of Castlevania and Castlevania II and I want to make historically accurate light armors for the protagonist.

  2. noelle is just a reference to an old anime trend from 90s and early 2k (like isekaied characters today), battle maids used to be popular back then, now they still appear once in a while but not as main characters anymore.

  3. Ahahaha I actually inspected Mondstadt's castle design, thought how they would defend or evacuate it. I also inspected each region's armor and weapon. It's great. I also analyzed each city's design.
All from both a historical military perspective and a city planning perspective. Never really got anyone to talk to about this kind of nerdy stuff. A lot of my interested in this era (already interested in military, albeit modern) was sparked by historical youtubers like yourself. My city planning interest was sparked by other youtubers though.
The great thing is that Mihoyo do try to capture different cultures accurately and has corrected errors in the past. Still its a game and they aren't historians, they are game developers so it has done pretty well.

  4. Wonderful with Japanese media with Europe as a theme, I am always looking for more! Since Americans hate Europeans and have more or less monoplized story telling, its great with stories from a civilization that does not hate us.

  5. I was impressed with the city and castle of Monstadt. I thought the castle itself was pretty realistic, maybe it could use a few improvements here and there, but maybe in times of emergency they reinforce open areas with wooden palisades? Also I was impressed with Beidou's great-sword animations, and the fact that the Shogun uses a polearm as primary weapon and sword as a prestige weapon.

  6. Good thing I see this because on mobile(even in high graphics) no matter how I see their plate armor it's flat. Like how it can protect you from a blunt attack when it's nearly your chest skin 😅. Good thing it's not case with pc and ps4
