  2. I have a feeling all these "Casual Genshin Players" already switching to HSR for the sake of trend. And I don't want that. They gonna ruin the game for sure.

  3. miHoyo actually said that they are Otakus and they want to gift other Otakus the joy of anime waifu combat… But lately in the combat department, PGR is a way more intense then Genshin… Wish it was an open world game, I know you're going to say that Wuthering waves is coming, but no… I want to play open world with Alpha/Bianca Alter , etc… proper waifus

  4. I have jet to meet anyone that is satisfied with Genshins Endgame and they do a TCG….. who gives a shit? Do i look like i wana play Hearthstone? It was fun for a few hours and now i ignore it just like the Story (they both had their chance to wow me and failed). Star rail Monday: "Ohh boy im gonna do my dailys and then hertas", Honkai Monday: "Massive payout from Red Lotus, Elysian realm reset, daylis, unlock new ones for ER", Genshin Monday: "…log in, dayli…log out"

  5. I for one am looking forward to the update since I want Kirara and Yoimiya. But that aside. Honestly, I don't see what's wrong with a focus on the mini-games and side-stories aspect as the core for a patch update.

The main bulk of the Sumeru story has already ended and we have to wait till version 4.xx till we see the Fontaine, the next big storyline chapter. Till then, we shouldn't be expecting any kind of huge update that will 'wow' us, the players. Even back when the Sumeru story was still ongoing, some even complained it was long. Turns out, the payoff was great, wasn't it? Sumeru is currently recognized as one of the best story chapters in Genshin at the moment.

Good things takes time and so it's fine for such minor updates in between. Especially more so when Genshin is ultimately a story-based game. I hardly think the majority of people play Genshin for the combat first, story second. The combat is definitely and it definitely is the aspect that makes the game feel great to play. But ultimately, most play Genshin precisely because of the fantastic story. And by expanding on the side-stories, mini-games, mechanics and more, that all adds to the story.

The fact that the TCG is canonical in the story and not just some afterthought mini-game already shows how much effort Hoyoverse is putting into this. For example, we have characters like Cyno who very much enjoys the TCG during his leisure and is competitive. And you can actually play the TCG that's being mentioned in the story is mind-boggling to be honest.

Anyways, I'm also glad it's a light update. Why? So I can play Honkai: Star Rail instead.

  6. I can say i have content and shit to do in genshin thankfully. Ive taken hug breaks i havent even finished inazuma. Actually I am going back to do story just cause i have basically nothing to do in star rail at the moment besides dailies. Dont know what ill do when thats all I have for either game lol

  7. Genshin takes zero brain cells to play. It is way too easy. If there was actual end-game content or the monster didn't die by me staring at them, I would enjoy genshin more. Also, the fact that the story takes over 6 hours hard skipping to get about 30 mins of play time is ridiculous. I would rather watch anime for the same result and less work.

  8. Bro the tcg its just boring, of the 10 tcg players 8 of them likes to play it just because its genshin themed, and the other 2 just dont know that they are ACTUAL tcg out there, just like every event in genshin, a half baked gamemode (yes im looking at you rythm game with braindead dificulty)

  9. genshin has ALWAYS had fluctuating player bases bc thats just the natural of something thats created to be a side game, dont know why ppl are still surprised by this, there will ALWAYS be lackluster updates, the game is catered towards the casual player base, they could lose every hardcore player who completes everything in a day and complains about there being no content and be just fine, as long as they keep the majority casual player base happy they will continue to be one of the biggest mobile games in china

  10. Tcg is fine just lacks rewards So there is really no point in playing it. I think having rating or ranks should be added along with a seasonal rewards of course would spark and satisfy the competitive wants of genshin player.
Man genshin has a lot of potential sucks that it is turning into roblox just full of copied minigames😢

  11. I've heard that CN community really love TCG and always do tournaments, this is why Hoyo keep updating it and now they adding a PvP arena for it. As a person who played a lot of Hearthstone in the past I'm all for TCG in Genshin but you are right about it not having enough depth. I don't think it's necessary to make TCG as separate game. I actually think Genshin needs a lot of different game modes in it. It works for GTA Online, why not to do that for Genshin?

  12. genshin just sucks right now the patches have been lukewarm and sumeru overstayed its welcome in my eyes to much desert, quests to bloated, the events were ok, and i was never a fan of the tcg i think it sucks personally.

  13. I hate tcg. I never play people. I only play the 2 games a week for the battlepass, which I finish after 3 weeks into the 6 week battlepass.
I maintain 2 accounts to rotate which account pulls and which account saves. I have not finished the most recent desert expansion area due to life. I'm looking to finish the area quests before June 1st when I start playing diablo4. Once diablo4 is out, I'll only play genshin on my phone at work, until Fontaine comes out. Exploration is more fun on pc where the controls are vastly better.

  14. HoYoVerse TCG could have Genshin, Honkai impact 3rd, Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, tears of themis, and literally their entire IP and it would SMACK ASS! I would play a pompom-katherine (pom pom but from Genshin) tribal like Aristocrats-y deck😎

  15. The Genshin white knight simps are crying. They was walking from hell and back to protect Genshin lmao and now they are bored. We all tried to make it better but they dident and now they got a game they wanted 😂😂😂

  17. Hold on a minute, people don't play Genshin to play TCG? I have vivid recollection of how I was told to piss off, when I asked for more combat oriented endgame content by the "Genshin community" (AKA Twitter warriors on their account), because apparently the game is casual, the combat is not important and is not core feature of the game. Apparently I'm mean hardcore elitist bitch for wanting something other than TCG, is what I learned back then. Uncanny :D. Almost as if one does not need to be hardcore elitist bitch to have fun playing the ACTUAL game – which means fighting monsters for the most part tbh, NOT playing fucking card game. Curious :D. But memes aside, I'm sure some people had their fun with the TCG, I was just always sceptical that this is what most of the players really want from the game. There is only so much story and maps they can release in some reasonable time window and having just Abyss (gets old fast) and some goddamn card game prepared as passtime doesn't feel sufficient. With the ungodly amounts of money they make at least, they for sure have the capacity to do better than that.

  18. I actually did like TCG but I don't have time to play a card game lmao. If I log into genshin these days it's to artifact farm, do daily commissions and log off in less than 30 minutes. But let's be honest, even doing that is not fun especially after a long time. So unless there's a story update, there is really no reason to log into the game and do chores for primos lmao and much less, play a card game with no rewards.

  19. I’m down for genshin being casual, but HYV shouldn’t forget the portion of the player base that is more hardcore. Those who aren’t “stressed” by optional content will have something to grind towards

  20. I'm same like that one comment..
I don't find any of the recent event fun..
The only thing i want more is character interaction..

Some of those character interaction are fun..
Take the recent windblume for example, teb interaction between sucrose and collei are wholesome, tighnari cyno albedo is quirky trio, Klee being the smallest to patrol is cute..

While i dont enjoy the minigames, at least there's the interaction..

For 3.7 i wanted to see how kirara and charlotte interaction are going to be.. that's it.. I've played tcg, but not really interested..

I only go for characters that i like and use the shiny animated cards on them, and last but the best one is primos.. that is it..

Waiting for thoma and kazuha tho to finish doing that.. done ayato alreadym.

  21. yeah genshins tcg has a long way to go compared to others. i love tgc and usually it felt too similar or just not exciting enough. like im not thinking enough to win. most have such a variety bu those are games dedicated to just tgc type games. genshin had a cute enough start, but its not far enough to be a stand alone event. sure am playing the event tho. onmyoji, a game with many stand alone games, has its own tgc game. and its amazing. aesthetic and cards wise. genshin should steal a page out of it fellow chinese games.

  22. Not all players wanted a soft pansy ass alternative game mode. I wanted end game content that was an alternative to the spiral abyss because all it is is a DPS check. Biggest mistake they made was putting a game inside a game that had no leg to stand on on its own. Teccy is right, the card game is no fun on its own, the decks are repetitive.

  23. TOF does everything those endgame players want, such as pvp/leaderboard/story skip options. I mean, the reason why genshin is so popular is unimaginably complicated. I'm not saying you can't give advice to game companies. I'm just saying, if you're just an ordinary player, and you think your suggestions will definitely improve the game, or you think mihoyo didn't listen to you, so mihoyo is walking on the wrong path, then you are delusional.

  24. The player base wasn’t asking for casual gameplay, they were asking for more easy free stuff.
Should’ve asked for skill based, (permanent) replayable content.
