  1. To clarify on what is happening from my experience with a past strike. Hoyoverse is using a bot to strike channels therefore they must be using certain keyword filters. Basically if they strike you, you have NO CHANCE on appealing the decision as YouTube will not remove a strike unless the party who striked the content agrees. Reaching out to Hoyoverse doesn't work as they DO NOT respond no matter what you say. Therefore, you will never get an approval from Hoyoverse to remove the strike. This has been a loophole since forever in YouTube's system and basically you'd have to take Hoyoverse to court if you want even the slightest chance to have strikes removed from your channel.

EDIT: You WILL get a strike just for mentioning "Leaks" in your title regardless of the contents of your video. You can have a 20 minute blackscreen video and still get striked. As it's a bot delivering the strikes, it is searching for keywords in your title rather than actually verifying the contents of your video. For example a title such as "I am against Genshin Impact 3.5 leaks and love Hoyoverse." Will likely get striked for haveing "Genshin Impact 3.5 leaks" in the title. Even if your entire video is you talking praise about Genshin Impact & Hoyoverse you will likely still get a strike as the bot doesn't actually watch your video.

  2. i must say, this can only be good. Some leaks are getting so out of hand, that informations get jumbeled up, because people just repeat what someone else was saying and adding their own stuff to it, making false claims.
I mean that People where rock solid on the track that for Example Dehyas Burst doesn't trigger Xinqui and Yelan Hydro attacks and that she is the only Character who does that, is so WRONG!
No Burst triggers the Hydro attacks of these 2 Characters, they can only be triggered by normal Attacks.
So many People started to believe that, only because more and more were saying that and when so many say it, it has to be true, is what theyare all thinking.
By putting a stop to leaks, even not all, but major Leaks at all, they can just hopefully stop also the Spread of false informations that People will stat to believe.

  3. I am…actually fine with this. You know how things disappear the easiest? Don't bring it up and it dies with time. Including leaks even if they were against it. You know who praises Hoyo that talks about the negatives of leaks on Youtube? Content creators that feed on drama and a large portion of these people are clickbaiters. Good riddance to Undiscovery Channel too.

  4. 5:44 that’s called the "Streisand effect" pretty sure it’s something like Barbara Streisand hated some pic and didn’t want it circulated and everyone started flocking for the picture and so it became popular opposed to if she didn’t call for censorship and just going about it quietly or leaving it be.

  5. honestly, i’m glad they’re doing this. it doesn’t hurt people who are making legit content, and most of all it gives you more of a choice on whether you see the leaks or not. i kept saying “not interested” to channels that had a new character or info in the thumbnail that i process before i can stop myself, but they keep coming. at the end of the day, we still get what info we “need,” and the horrendous clickbait videos, while still existent, should get less traction

  6. remember before Inazuma? We've basically had almost nothing about the land besides small nippets. But now, just at 3.1 or 3.2, the whole plan for Fontaine was leaked (it was even on many news sites). So yeah, it is major, and Hoyo just decides to take action

  7. Its the Dehya Leaker's I tell ya and there Doom Posting kins!

What part of Non-Disclosure Agreements and the whole part of why Leaks are bad do they don't understand?

The problem with leaks is that the Company cannot control Marketing in a Business World where so much values falls on Reputation. And u can't have snakes spreading about lies all over about ya.

  8. Hoyo definitely want to snuff all leakers. They've sent strikes/terminations to YouTube,Twitter an reddit for years now. Rememer 2.0? Suing people left an right. A company wouldn't go this far out of their way for something they don't want to get rid of. That's goofy logic.

Hoyo already made over 5billlion. They're too big to fail an they don't need leaks to keep engaging because the community has engagement in too many mediums before leaks. Leaks makes companies lose money if anything in the long run because people can't get effected by fomo is they know the entire patch schedule, character gameplay an kit. Look at dehya. She will be dead on arrival because of leaks.

All this does is make usual leakers go to hibernation in fear of losing their channels. Are we forgetting all the bigger channels before now that got deleted aswell?

They've even deleted theory craft channels for leaked characters without any leaks aswell.

  9. I don't support leaks in any way, form or context personally. You play stupid games you get that stupidity returned back to you in the form of a boomerang. Now small minor leaks is one thing because the information is too limited to make heads or tails of what's being shown. This goes for upcoming character banners which I don't mind. However we have living buffoons posting entire areas, characters, gameplay elements and whatever else they found from whatever source they got them from and just blatantly throwing out entire content that hasn't even been tested yet or is still in development. THOSE channels and accounts deserve to be shut down. I used to look at a few KH3 leaks here sprinkled here and there years ago, but stopped because I realized how pointless it is to rely on unconfirmed information. It was the only time I ever gave leaks a try.

  10. good. hoyo clean them off the map. yes, i do watch leaks and love to plan in advence. but at this point ALL things being leaked. and when story bits and whole cutscenes being leaked and everyone casully talking about it on twitter, its ruining everything .
so i hope the leaks will be wiped clean at this point. also it will be good for you content creators ,cause leaks acount will take all the views from decent channels

  11. When you have no other content to make so you complain about a company using their legal rights to protect their property. Genshin may profit off of gambling, but you idiots profit off of recycling videos over and over and now you want the right to profit off of someone else's work. Now tell me who's worse.
