Genshin Impact is Getting an Anime and Its By Ufotable aka The Studio That Did Demon Slayer

Earlier this morning some shocking news came out about Genshin Impact. It actually got a anime announcement and the shocking part is that its done by Studio Ufotable aka the same studio that brought us Demon Slayer / Kimetsu no Yaiba and the Fate Stay Night series. Looking at the culture impact of Genshin Impact, I don’t doubt it’ll be a fantastic anime.

  1. Genshin has a lot of lore and character stories that the anime can use. The only thing I'm conrned about is the traveler and how they will handle the twins. In the game, you pick whichever twin you want and then the game splits them apart for the rest of the story. I wonder if they will follow only 1 twin or both.

  2. They have enough money to spend and a big fanbase…..it would be a mistake not doing it.

Honkai has a good story too but the first chapters just about a few characters but genshin has more lore since the beginning

  3. I play Genshin impact since day one, normally I try to skip story so I can go to battle as quick as possible.
Like i said "I TRY" but the story is so good that It draws me in LOL.
I feel that an anime of it will be really awesome, all old school players knows that Genshin will get darker and darker as deep it gets to the truth of what happened to Khaenri'ah.

  4. I’m not really hyped for genshin anime adaptation from ufotable, mostly because the genshin story is passable, I really think they should’ve done solo leveling as that’s where they’ll shine most, my opinion.

  5. I've played the game before.. the game itself is good but the customer service is really bad. my account got hacked and they told me to fill out a form.. after waiting for 30 days, the responded back and I got a reply saying that "the form i submitted is invalid". They dont even tell you what part of the information you type is invalid.. and instead they tell u that you can resubmit the form again.

the customer service for this game is "0".. really bad. Till this day, I still haven't gotten my account back.

  6. OMG, that looks amazing. I have to give it to Hoyoverse, In terms of Story, character design and world building they are one of the best. I mostly played the game for the main story and for the Lore, until I found a character I really liked and wanted to make the strongest. But as someone who mainly played it for the story, I have to say that experiencing the story in Anime format, made by one of the most appreciated studios right now sounds so good. The quality shown in the trailer reminds me of Kyoto Animations Violet Evergarden, which is my 2nd favorite series after Bleach. I cannot wait to see an actual trailer, cuz this was just a sneak peak. The quality is so high, it makes animated movies production look pale. Never thought I would feel the urge to play that game again, but If they do my main character justice, I just might. A really good investment by Hoyoverse. And the preview does say this is a long term partnership, so we may get a new 100+ episodes series, that actually has a good story.

  7. What crazy to think about if Genshin anime work very well they might adapt their other popular game like Honkai which also have very incredible story that a lot of non player miss out for not playing.

  8. 4:31 I don't get it why people keep calling Genshin Impact just a "mobile game that can be played on PC"… dude, it's the complete opposite! It's a PC/PS4/PS5 Game that can also be played on mobile. The development of the game was made taking into account all the platforms in mind. And in fact, you have to have a powerful smartphone to play it quite well. Honkai is a mobile game that was brought to PC… and it shows that. But not Genshin. If you like open wolrd games like Zelda BotW or NieR: Automata, I think you would also like Genshin. But when it comes to the characters… yeah, it's gacha. But a lot of PC and console games are also implementing that system. If it's a good or a bad thing, it's going to depend on the circumstances of each player.

  9. Mihoyo knows what they doing, just look at the evolution of Honkai Impact anime shorts. They've been testing for years with different Japanese studios. Looking back now at the Genshin anime pvs that popped out randomly for no reason early this year, in different style as well…some be looking real sus as at least one of them is made by Ufotable.

  11. As a veteran Genshin player and a lore enthusiast, I can pretty much say for sure that Genshin anime will be an absolute banger ( if they stay true to the actual plot and lore[ which I hope they will ] ).
