She gonna be very op. If I get the best weapon for her, I will definitely like it.
I'm not upset at all we're not getting her right now. It gives me time to enjoy Xiao while he's here while still saving my primos for her. Because yes, I def want all polearm users so I'll def pull for her but no rush Hu Tao, take your time.

They might be still working on her. She is not in the beta testing. So they don’t want to announce a character they are not ready to release. Makes sense.
Plus, Hu Tao’s kit is unique and poses new challenges to balancing. Remember that she was initially designed to be a 4 star. It likely going to take a lot of testing and potentially redesigning.
We know there will be a third character in 1.3. Could it be Zhongli?

There was a leak saying that Hu Tao has new "spectral mechanic" which allows her to pass through mobs while dodging. According to leaker this mechanic has a lot of bugs which makes Hu Tao cluncky to play.

If that's true, then why make 2 2 week banners for a 6 week update, which almost perfectly align with the end of CNY? The only other thing I could think of would be a ZhongLi rerun (since he also works at the funeral parlour), but then again, why introduce the Staff of Homa without Hu Tao? Just seems weird.

Aprill is suitable realese date for Hu Tao because chinese day of the dead, and Aprill fools, she likes to prank others. However she won't be released on 4th aprill because 4th Aprill is sunday.

I always thought that MHY did not release Hu Tao after Xiao because they don't want Xiao to have any competition as Hu Tao is also a polearm user and has ALMOST the same skillset as Xiao's. She's also Pyro which is a superior element for DPS.
I was building pity for Xiao (or trying to get Ganyu), I got Qiqi. I officially hate this game.
I already got ganyu and have a fair bit of primos left, im saving for xiao but also want hu tao, miracles happen

But it's weird that she has so much info released already along voice dubbed in every language, it's a weird curved ball along with the fact we're only getting 1 new 5* apparently. I mean I'm just a bit disappointed but I can wait I guess.
As for voice lines I'm a big lore guy so I read up about everyone months ago, every voice line about Albedo (before he came out), Rosaria, Yunjin, Diona and Xinyan (before they came out), Yaoyao, Hu Tao and Varka. And Baizhu you meet in the story too.

I agree completely – they're not gonna keep releasing two new 5* every patch. Hu Tao is definitely gonna be end of 1.4 or even 1.5 and Ayaka/Inazuma will be 1.6 at the absolute earliest. Honkai Impact 3rd is over 4 years in and still haven't complete the main story line. They're not gonna rush anything. I'd say we'll see Zhongli rerun and even maybe Venti rerun along and the Chasm in Liyue released as a Dragonspine-esque area before Inazuma. Maybe weird shit happens in the Chasm and people are acting all zombie like, run Hu Tao and then Qiqi for that patch, who knows. We don't know until we know but it seems very likely the release schedule is gonna slow down and that's a good thing. Let people save gems, get hyped and have time to play other games and do other things lol. Genshin is intended to be a constant fixture that you spend varying amounts of time in on a daily basis, not the thing you do for several hours every day.
