I spent hours running around the maps trying to triangulate where celestia was. and I was spot on. Thanks for the whole map view. It drives me nuts that I can't see this ingame.
I think the land on the west is still Fountaine because natlan would most likely be the rest of sumerus desert it was said Fountaine is a warm and humid climate so it being to the west is not unexpected especially since the current fountaine we have feels really small despite the underwater exploration
Celestia will definitely not belong to Fontaine since the whole continent of Fontaine is on a raised plate. it might belong to Mondstadt since in front of Venti's statue its written "gateway to celestia". or it might not belong to any nation whatsoever
as a cartography nerd, i really do wonder how that blank space between fontaine and liyue will be filled. because if fontaine is expanding north and it will still occupy that area than it really will be HUGE, like, bigger than sumeru. or maybe there will still be some sumeru and liyue squeezed in the mix
Snezhnaya might be under sumeru, if you see carefully the map you will notice that there's a suspicious cut between the inazuma sea and sumeru sea, we can't explore at least a bit of sumeru's sea, and also, in archon quest dottore said he was going to snezhnaya from port ormos, but, he could take less time going on land, than on boat because they have to go all around teyvat to arrive, so this conclusion makes me think that inazuma and snezhnaya are not near but both are on the south, and maybe we will get to snezhnaya from port ormos too in the archon quest, just like we did in liyie to go to inazuma
As much as this initially excited me I rewatched a few times and noticed that Natlan would be completely off the designated area of Genshin right now. So how can anyone survey it? Even if they glitched off the map that area isn't even in the game to explore that far west.
I think that the mountains on the west of Fontaine are just some unused assets or were put there so that terrain don't look plain around Fontaine.

From what i searched: mare jivar, dornman port and Sea of Dandelion are rumored to be on the northern part of mondstadt confining with snezhnaya
if natlan really is going to be that big, the devs are fucking insane

And this doesn't include Khaenri'ah Map , which the main story heavily revolves. The first door has already appeared under the last area of Sumeru.
