I do personally think that there's roughly 10 more available characters from Monstadt that is yet to be released and available and quite possibly an extension of the map region of Monstadt. Why is that you may ask? Well, I do think Mihoyo won't left past regions as it is as it would dry out their relevancy to the game.
it is highly unlikely that the passage way you mentioned lead to a port. that area doesn't have much depth for any ships to pass and their are no roads too, only likely chance will be mondstadt building a new port or something like building jade chamber or something else who knows.
Speaking of lakes and seas, I think west/north-west of the chasm should have a lake, since Teucer did say he came from Snheznahya on a ship. So it's possible there's a waterway in the middle of Teyvat that can bring boats from Snheznahya to Liyue.
What if Dvalin was already the weekly boss
I feel the games lore and mystery is strongest when related to Mondstadt, i mean the nameless island alone has had some the most interesting hints here and there thats made lore enthusiasts go crazy unlike anything from outside of Mondstadt.
also most of the most notable characters in game come from Mondstadt, and Alice…

The final boss battle will happen in Mondstadt.

For sure there's more to Mondstadt since we only met and battled 2 of the 4 winds so far. We have yet to see the Falcon and Lion.
Imagine the Dandelion sea gets released with it
I don't think we won't get a boss from Venti's second story quest since we already fought his familiar (dvalin)
Zhongli 2nd story quest had us fight Azdaha along with him
Ei 2nd story quest had us (technically she herself fought it) fight the puppet.
As you can see, the bosses they release from the 2nd story quest of archons had deep connections to themselves.
So far Venti has only been shown to have deep connections with Dvalin. But were already done with him lol.
The only thing I can think of being a boss is corrupted Andrius, or the nameless bard suddenly got ressurected and turned evil.
Or it could be completely unrelated to Venti like Susbedo Boss.

So There is Another Part of Liyue That Will Get Released. It's Actually The Continuation of Mount Hulao. If You Look West You can Actually See Some Mountain Ranges With Those Bridges Connect To Each Other. It Might Be Another Adepti's Abode. There might be many Adepti Introduced. As you know Mountain Shaper and Moon Carver Abode are not available yet so we might get to know more about it in the future. We might get to meet their students like Cloud Retainer Has Ganyu and Shenhe. Probably in 2.8 or 2.9
I hope Dandelion Sea (with this port's presence) gives us permanent access to golden apple archipelago
the same way watatsumi gives access to enkanomiya
and the chasm gives access to underground mines

interesting how there is still another area in Mondstat not accessible yet in the map, and interestingly, Zhongli revealed another village northwest from Liyue not accessible either.
most likely means we'll be getting new areas in both Mondstat and Liyue in the future.
Honestly, I just want to see the Dandelion Sea, I actually don't remember hearing about that port. 😅 Regardless, Mondstadt really does need a bigger expansion to match Inazuma and Liyue.
I was thinking that the next Dainsleif appearance will be also revealing new areas of Mondstadt because of the stolen statue. But the Chasm it is! At least Dain is returning

I don't think the situation with Eula and Yanfei has anything to do with the missing statue since in Cape Oath you can find a ring of stone as if something was meant to be there. It also makes it unlike since it was said that it was a statue of the seven the church could see from within Mondstadt. If the port is as far out as calculated, there's no way they could've been able to see the statue from there.
I remember there's a place called black castle northern to monstadt, just exactly like the thumbnail.
But that's quite an old map, not sure if they changing it

Why do everytime this game or any video mentions Dandelion Sea I always remember Shaymin, specifically the flower field where you catch it back on Pkmn Platinum…

If the statue was form dorman port then does that mean that area of mondstad is not under the protection of the 7? This could either mean that by the time the traveler reaches dorman port abyss monsters might over run it or Dorman port is a region of mondstad that is under the surveillance of Celestia since a statue which acts as a beacon is removed form there
I'm almost 100% sure that dorman port will be released before Fontaine like the Chasm was just released before Sumeru.

I notice too that mondstadt is small despite of the addition of dragonspine theres one more area to make it equal to Liyue & Inazuma… Maybe the port is the missing one also i notice the weird cut of map in canyon part i feel that something of that part has to be unlocked…..

I hope they expanded Monstadt along with this port and more lively towns. Monstadt somehow feels like some back country town compared to Liyue and Inazuma

The chasm hasn't even released and people are anticipating for a new region. This has happened with every new region and character. As soon as Yelan official art got released they forgot about ayato completely.
All of this is exciting stuff. I have the most fun when I get to explore new places and learn new lore in the game.
Amazing. How people can make these theories. I originally thought that Mondstadt is already finished. But seeing this video made me realize that the game is really just at the beginning. And the dandelion sea. I NEVER, I repeat, I NEVER believed that it is, it can, and it will be added in the game. When the kid talked about it, I immediately believed that it's just a fantasy of the kid and I thought others thought too but I didn't know that many people actually believed that it is real and will be added into the game later on. I'm not sure if it's others being so predictive or if it's me being too…i don't know, simple thinker? I've always thought and believed that the game is somehow realistic, as in quite like in real life. I'm sure that I started the game having high expectations and it surpassed my expectations! It's just that it seems like my 'high expectations' doesn't seem that high compared to the REAL "expectation" that the game developers decided to give us. I know I've wasted the time of anyone reading this but I just wanted to share my opinion of expectation and amazement at the game.
