  1. I don't think any government should do this…..But for real tho kids under 18 shouldn't play games all day at least when they have school….and it's up to the parents to do something about it.

  2. BREAKING NEWS: Chinese gov cracks down on online gamers over 80 years of age

Since the Chinese gov cracked down on under aged online gamers, there has been an unprecedented surge in the elderly creating accounts according to official Gov data. Gov official claims if the elderly spend time on online games they won’t be effective child care providers for the working class

  3. I think the vid missed something about the Bilibili issue… I saw one reddit explanation (sorry couldn't link, since there is soooo many drama there too. And so I cannot really say this is the truth) saying miHoYo doesn't really have anything against Bilibili, but the big Leakers thriving in Bilibili. Just like YouTube, Bilibili can make content creators profit, and the big Leakers thriving there is making tons of money. That is the particular Leaker miHoYo wants to shutdown (we have so many leakers who just tweets and leaves, not gaining anything maybe just popularity but atleast they aren't getting money from something the beta owns).

And the way their laws work, miHoYo nor Bilibili cannot check the personal info of these content creators unless a lawsuit is presented to the government. The plan follows: miHoYo sues Bilibili> the Government approves of Personal Info peaking> miHoYo sues the big Leakers> Bilibili walks out unscathed> Big Leakers profiting from Bilibili and Beta will go byebye.

  4. If mihoyo just hires people for the beta instead of picking random people and announce some bits of info to the public everyone will be happy and nothing will be leaked

And hiring people for beta surely wont hurt their billion$ bank account…

  5. It is so confusing how Mihoyo is actively fighting against leakers in Genshin yet is so tolerant for it in Honkai. Like I know the beta testing in Honkai is different but it is obvious that they can just do the same for Genshin. I do not play Honkai as much but I have been following leaks since 5.0 and I tell you, every new PV, character introduction, and update changes get me excited for Honkai's future. It feels like Mihoyo is just doing this publicity stunt to get more spotlight on themselves lmao.

  6. What baffles me is just their other game, has beta testing and it's kinda not 'open for everyone' but the informations are absolutely open for everyone. Because content creators tested and shared it with everyone on streams clips etc. And I think their team doesn't mind that as it's actually helps in the promotion itself & building hype.

  7. Well nothing surprising about that from a surveillance authoritarian state. Those chinese businesses doing business outside china just need to keep such repulsive practices out of the free world

If mihoyo really wants zero leaks, the fix is as simple as getting paid testers to run the betas. But genshin has the quality it has because of unbiased, objective feedback of independent testers

  8. Prohibition never works. Its basic economics…i would argue that gaming is actually one of the healthier hobbies. Now watch as kids get addicted to alchohol, sugars and drugs.
Anyway. I am sure MHY is pretty upset by the loss of millions of 15 yo giga whales… the company is doomed!!!

  9. Speedrunners in genshin impact that are not from china: ThEReS nO CoNTenT
china: only allows people to play for 3 hours for a week so companies can't put TOO much content, only content enough for 1 hour per day
    Speedrunners: confused Pikachu face

  10. I'm fairly certain mihoyo is only harsh on leaks because under a legal eye, it has to be. Protect your IP, or lose it. However, the leaks are literally free advertising. The fact that people scrabble to see the vids and snatch up the pictures and audio files tells mihoyo that their game is at the top of everyone's mind. They're not going to increase their security, because this is the sweet spot.
