Honestly Yelan and a really cool event I saw in my dreams are basically the only thing that my excitement for next patch is predicated on. Nothing else will impress me because it’s guaranteed to just be more of the same. Next patch in a nutshell is probably:
-Yelan/Kuki Shinobu and a Rerun of some kind
-A major flagship event similar in scale to Shadows Amidst Snowstorms or Labyrinth Warriors with some sort of shop present to (barely) compensate for the lack of a new area.
-Maybe a hangout or two, idk
The usual collection of gimmicky or minigame events after the major flagship one.
And then…business as usual most likely, maybe some qol improvements here and there and then gg. The patch will be sort of fun for as long as the major event lasts and then it’s back to berry picking and 5-10mins of meaningful gameplay a day like always.
Keqing isn’t bad because she’s electro. She is just bad sadly.
If she was hydro, geo, pyro, anemo, she’d still be bad. She just has bad scaling.
Maybe if she was cryo she’d be usable. But probably still worse than Rosaria.
I think we are getting these hydro 5 star units now to get ready for Dendro reactions in the future and it would be insane to not have a hydro reaction with a the plant element.😂 Also Excited for Kuki for that Healer reason because guess what most Electro teams run without a healer….
Dendro + electro = even MORE electro particles. Electro enjoyers rejoice
I hope dendro works really well with electro for my Keqing C5 to shine ^^

Healer is the missing category for electro
I'd love to see Genshin be turned into a traditional fighting game like mortal Kombat, guilty gear, Street fighter.
What role has electro not filled?
There are no male electro characters. All I see is a bunch of woman and a dog.
Genshin doesn't seem like a game your meant to stay and play everyday unless you make your own goals, I just play the game when I see an update that looks cool or a new region and that's fine, there are a shiz ton of other games to play and there isn't a real need to force yourself to play genshin
it's so funny how Mihoyo keeps Geo to be the strongest element with no weakness except itself while in nature Electro is the real strongest element. Mihoyo really wanna makes Liyue is the best nation with the best characters and the best element. they really trying to make other regions bad AF compared to Liyue. i hope Mihoyo begins to make label for every objects in Teyvat with "made in Liyue".
They can easily made this game better with.. GO hunt 10 ruin hunter for 20 resin.. Or exchange 100 hilicurl mask for 4* fragment either weapon or character. Right now there is no incentive for whales to play the game because the game is too easy, exploration and daily grind is not worth for them, they just fish baited by mihoyo marketing to crave for new 5* and login, give mihoyo money, log off
Why do we even need electro healer?
I alway saw electric as energy recharge. Electro MC, Fishl, and Raiden main role ER. My Yae Miko is C6 and acts as both super sub dps and provides some ER. Keqing and Razor I see as mainly physical DPS with the benefit of sometimes doing an elemental reaction. I don't know what more you need to see to understand Electro is mainly an ER element with some sub dps characters.
Anyone that's been plying genshin for a year, should undressed that Genshin is a casual game mobile game. All you do is farm and wait for events. Expecting more is only setting yourself up for disappointment.
I'm so so so excited about Cyno and ofc the landscape and the soundtracks from Sumeru. I'm so so freakin excited!!
