This was the CRAZIEST special program EVER! What are you most excited for?? It's a toss up between Cyno and the ANIME for me!!
Genshin characters were not design for an animation, they are too detailed, i wonder which route they are going to take with the characters design for the anime
The new five star "claymore" is actually a sword! It's Nilou's signature weapon (sword) where unfortunately it doesn't fit her style as well as it should :/
Nilou is actually a sub dps and her kit is made for bloom reactions
Animation series, concert, 20 pulls, 2 new gadgets, a card game incoming and much more is a clear sign of how much they care for this game. If people wont be happy with it, nothing can. And giving so much stuff ingame for free is not a good indication of a game's status anyways.
Also, I'm a sucker for pwetty gurlz who dances and uses sword so Nilou is my next c6 project (Ayaka, done). Nilou juggles between main and sub DPS, and I just need someone to discover how her kit actually plays out. Cyno is also a must pull for me so… I will have the driest and emptiest bank account after this patch. Lol.
Lol yeah that was me in the comments, I'm super glad to also get a chance at that free Collei you all got. (wasn't that Xianling's floor though or is it 3 floors later…been a while since I did Abyss?)
New characters look much better than I was expecting. Not saying I want them yet but I'm really looking forward to their trials to see whether they actually are as interesting as they appear.
Personally I'm hoping the anime recaps the goings on of the game since a lot of that stuff deserves to be seen in even more splendour than the game could (some of the world quests too, not just the Archon stuff). And also it would be great to have a high quality recap resource without relying on someone on Youtube to compile it all for us. But I'm pretty much fine with anything even if they just want to do a recipe of the week with Paimon thing. Aether and Lumine better be using the Traveler's Handy Sword though.

I know nothing about Genshin Impact other than the name and the characters look like anime characters. All I gotta say is Ufotable ain't called Ugoatable in the anime community for nothing. I usually don't watch anime based off of a game but whenever this drops it's day one for me.
You might have missed Nilou's very restrictive passive of requiring strictly dendro+hydro only in her team to proc her bountiful cores. I personally would still pull just so I have something new to try. Her bountiful cores seems fun.
The rewards might be the same as last year but honestly, I'll take that 20 pulls, the bird and a good concert. ๐คฃ They might still announce more but the TCG and the Genshin anime with THE ufotable is already cool.
Working with UFOTable is cool and all but I personally was hoping they would work with their in house studio if we consider the quality of work they did with the Honkai animations. I prefer Hoyoverse's own art style personally.
The anime is such a hype. I also hope it incldes the archon war

I was randomly trying to pull for kokomi the other day and I've never been so happy losing a 50/50 because I'm now guaranteed my boy Cyno lol also, omg. when I was watching the stream, I ACTUALLY screamed when the "x UFOTABLE" came out. idc about any rewards anymore, I get one of my favorite boys, my favorite harbinger (dottore), amazing Sumeru lore, AND an anime announcement + concert! I'm good. I'm happy. I feel rewarded already. ๐ฅณ

I worried a bit if they're going to retell the whole story from the game to anime for us OG fans if we're going to relive the whole story again. But then I thought the industry has been doing that to the manga for years now so yeah, nothing to worry about.
Ngl, I had the ability to get Collei but I was just too lazy to do it. Haven't gotten around to exploring Sumeru yet, might do it on my next day off. The free Collei from abyss will be appreciated
