  1. The ruin machines are also present in guizhongs realm meaning she was studying them or maybe created them but she died 2000 years ago. I dont think khaenri'ah invented the ruin machines but they did use them.

Oh khaenri'ah is older than the archon war

  3. I wouldn’t say it’s Apep Resort is the entrance to Khan’riah rather the ruins of dahri

Dahri" is confirmed to be an archaic term that translates to mean "Khaenri'ah" within the Sumeru region. So, does that mean the "Ruins of Khaenri'ah" are actually in the Sumeru Rainforest!?! No wonder that place is littered with ruin machines!

  4. when i heard kaeya say that in the new archon quest i FREAKED, i told my mom the (*extremely* simplified) basics of genshin and that that’s most likely the entrance to kaenriah and she was like “cool”

  5. Liloupar describes the Wenut sandworms as the "Children of Apep," and the description of the point of interest you're describing(in the "geography" section of the Archive) says that "a friend of King Deshret" built their court there with once-intelligent Wenut and Flying Serpents as their subjects. Taking these together, we can surmise that Apep was either a snakelike monster/dragon that served as Deshret's familiar, or a snake god in their own right. Certainly, Apep mythologically being the serpent that tries to devour the sun each night would fit with an Azhdaha- or Dvalin- type estranged familiar.

ETA: Could still be connected to Khaenri'ah, though. The imagery of a serpent devouring the sun is, of course, evocative of the Eclipse, which if you wanted to read into it could suggest that Apep was turned against Deshret specifically by the Abyss.

  6. Only after seeing clips of the Wenut and the Ruin Serpent one after another made me realize that the latter is modeled after the former. With the nation's close proximity, it's little wonder why Khaenri'ahn engineering captured Sumerian creatures in great detail. I wonder if they were able to do the same with the endemic creatures of the other nations or just Sumeru.

  7. Uhhhh so like i just came back here to say i used sayu to counter paimon and sped through to the entrance thing and, the moment her spin dash ended i got teleported to springvale. Where the waterfall is. I did this multiple times and it kept happening. So weird

  8. Now that I think of it. The ruin serpent is very similar to wenut. The flying ruin drake is similar to the desert birds. The crab is like the desert scorpion. The snake machine things are like the desert dragon things. Coincidence?
