There is always the argument that prototype needs a weak point shot to trigger it which most bosses don't have

Hamayumi is better than Crescent especially in Melt Ganyu because her burst is not that needed and some enemy doesn't have weak spot

For the People Who says that her burst isnt that cool, I know it doesnt look like a nuke, but its like sending so many arrows that has the equal power of a nuke in total.

what the buffs are you using?
If you include bannett, skyward will be better
you have the same stats though and to achive this ratio with prototype is really hard, and you are also hitting weak spot

its sad how r1 amos is wayyyy better than r1 harp, like 10k difference in raw dmg, im a small whale but i still haven't got a copy of amos T_T

The thing is skyward harp does more dmg with atk circlet (being exact r5 prototype crescent with passive on damage) considering u depend on the bow passive and most enemies doesnt have weak point skyward wins, also hamayumi is a better bow option compared to crescent (a lot better)
My ganyu does 27k charged raw damage with atk circlet (crits are 57/216 and we have to add bow's passive damage, wich is around 2k-4.7k depending on the enemies) so the damage is even comparable to amos but amos still wining for a 10%
So in conclusion for the ones that are still indecisive:
Prototype crescent first shot does less damage but it gives you more damage when you shoot again.
Skyward harp does more damage in the first shot but the aftershots aren't too shocking.
