Ganyu is the new HIGHEST DPS CEILING CARRY in Genshin Impact. She simply does more DPS as a Main DPS than any other Carry in the game currently. However Ganyu’s Support Power is aight, it’s not the best in Genshin, but it’s fairly strong.

HOWEVER the difference in power between Ganyu as a Main DPS and as a Burst Support (Sub DPS) is MASSIVE and we do not consider her worth pulling for if ALL you want is a new Cryo Supports.

If you want to fully utilize Ganyu in Genshin then you WANT to run her as a Charge Attack Carry in either reverse melt teams or in freeze teams.

  13. Late, but for my fellow 200 ping gangs (that's on ps4 anyway, should work on pc/mob?), to animation cancel ganyu's charge shot, don't aim with L2 and fire with R2, instead aim by holding the circle (e.g. normal attack) button and fire by releasing the button.

    Doing charged shot normally has a delay after firing one shot before you can exit aim mode, which makes animation cancelling redundant. Doing charge shots with holding circle somehow doesn't have this delay.

    The downside is that you have to claw grip like you're playing MHFU on PSP…

Just gonna say, as a mobile user I refused to get into bow characters because they always delt incredibly clunky and difficult to use BUT with Ganyu and intense practice, getting consistent headshots on mobile with gyro turned on is not impossible. I don’t think ill be doing aim cancels anytime soon, but gyro sensitivity set to max works and has made me see numbers I never dreamed I could.

  20. ok she is a good carry, but at the same time she is the best cryo support.
    could it mean that….
    characters are not bound to one role ?

    No character is carry or support, but can be played as carry or support, or even both.

    And yes ganyu is 10 times better in applying cryo then Diona…
    5 times better then kaeya.

  31. So, I am interested to hear your thoughts on my current build with her. Running a 4 piece Bolide on Ganyu, Zhongli support, Albedo with Petra support, and Diona support. I have effectively 100% CR (15 from cryo bonus, 20 from passive, 65 through artifacts/weap) and 200% CD. Zhongli shield gives Bolide boost as well as resist shred, Petra gives dmg boost. The shields and knockback resist make this ideal for close or long range, I am running a Harp on her as thats the 5* I have.

  35. rolled for ganyu cuz wasnt interested in xiao. I use her rn as superconduct for phys keqing with xinqiu and bennett.
    though long term she’ll be ganyu carry with xiangling, xinqiu and benett for melt ganyu and keqing will be 2nd abyss team

  38. I got ganyu, but i dont like her.. Since i dont like bow characters play style.. And i just left her in lvl 1, until one day i realized that she already had 4 sets wonderer troupe lvl 20 with the best stats amongst all the artifacs i have.. It makes ganyu have 45% crit rate and 200% crit dmg.. And now i want level up her to lvl 90, maxed her talent and weapon..

  39. I'm so sad that I missed ganyu. I'm f2p so far and was moving when the banner ended so I didn't have time to get her with crystals. Do you guys have any theories for if she will roll around again? I got a lucky amos bow from my regular banner stuff and don't want to get memed on for being an amber main lmao

NGL wanderers is the way to goo in the end game, the damage difference is quite high and proccing the blizzard strayers effect is not that wort lol, freeze comp is nice but x2 damage from melt is insane. given the additional fact that Ganyu's E is basically a taunt. freezing them is just a bonus CC
