  1. Note:
I've encountered some performance issues but that was only during the first day, today I played the game for a long time to make sure the issue did not come back. Performance has been consistent for me today, I was getting around 50-55 FPS all the time, which I think is good enough.
Yesterday when the issue happened, the FPS dropped to around 30 to 40, making the game experience super bad. TBH I'm still 100% clueless why it happened, but for now I'll take it as an isolated bug and keep an eye on it.
If you have an S23 device and also experience some inconsistent gaming performance, you may try to reboot your device a few times, wait for a few hours, it might resolve by itself. Please also share your experiences so that I can understand better what's the real cause.

  2. consider doing future tests without "bloom", as it is one of the most demanding setting for gpu as there are a ton of transparent effects during combat which are rendered multiple times. people won't have to sacrifice by switching to medium or low settings to get better performance, also during fights you can't see anything properly due to bloom(too much glow) & rather than having smooth combat you get frame drops & laggy gameplay.

  3. Its so nice to see samsung learning from their mistakes, the s23 series is pretty much solid now but can still improve with updates.

Please if you can, do a standard S23 test and a S23plus test.

Also another phone that i missed in one of your tests is the ASUS Zenfone 9, i think we might see good results.

Thank you!, and good work ๐Ÿ‘Œ

  6. Try run 1 more test for S22 Ultra. I getting on average 45-60fps all the time while temperature is running hot around 45ยฐC-50ยฐC with Android 13. Before Android 13 update, I getting a lot worst compared to now.
My one is Snapdragon variant and not Exynos variant.

  7. i am struggling on choosing S23 Ultra and Red magic 8 pro , which one is better in terms of gaming wise? as for camera, just set aside that… everyone knows definitely s23 ultra camera is king..

  8. Thanks for the test! I like Samsung and buy their phones for like 20 years, but as an avid Genshin fan last year's s22 ultra on exynos was and unexpected hard disappointment. I returned it so now I'm wary about buying s23 ultra. Thanks for the test, but if you have time could you please do a test in some graphics heavy domains like Signora or Raiden boss! That's where I encounteted most lags in the previous model.
